Caceres is 26 and Ogbonna 25, that gives us good scope for the future.

Fast forward 3 years and we are left with:

Barzagli 35
Chiellini 32
Bonucci 29
Caceres 28
Ogbonna 27

In a 3-5-2 scenario: Bonucci/Ogbonna duel will continue and develop. Caceres in theory would be the first choice DRC with Barzagli filling in the 'experienced veteran' role Ferrara used to, much depends on Barzagli's fitness. Chiellini I'd imagine would be more of a stay at home DLC in the Montero role by that age. Ogbonna could also play that role as a more advancing DLC, as could Caceres.

It would leave us with probably bringing in a defender through the ranks to become the 6th option and eventual Barzagli replacement. By which time Masi would be 24, Rugani 22, etc.

I'd say we are good for 3 years without massive investment back there, but it all depends who emerges or becomes available.

I absolutely love the way you ended your post.

What do you think of Klose if we sell quagliarella vucinic or giovinco ?
I think he is better than all 3.
under conte and a good medical Team he Score easily 15 Goals per Season.
And he is for free!!!!!!!
Give him a 2 Year contract marotta.
I hate that German turd.

Iturbe won't come here and shouldn't really come here either. He should join Roma. We don't use wingers, and they do. No point in coming here and ending up like Elia.

Radja to Roma is a much bigger blow to the likes of Milan and Napoli than it is to us. Napoli might lose out on 2nd and Milan's midfield is still shitty.

We're great! :D

I don't think he's as one-dimensional as Krasic, plus has the benefit of being able to come inside. Krasic was restricted to straight line running or checking back.

Okay, but I mean he just runs, runs, runs without really seeming to know what he wants to do. Lacks intelligence or creativity/flair. And doesn't have great technique for a winger.

The key point with Cerci is if he can adapt to a possesion based philosophy as opposed to the more counter-attacking football Torino exhibits. He's not that one-dimensional though.

You'll find that will be an issue for every winger we try to put into our current set up, even those of the very highest quality would find something taken away from their game.

I think the idea is that when we counter this type of player would allow us to more directly, more quickly, and less methodically. It pushes our team a step forward towards goal. But ask someone to collect the ball out wide and face up to 1-2 opponents from sometimes a standing position and take them on, then it's not as easy as bursting into space to build on a counter, as players do at less structured and often smaller teams. We would have to break much more quickly.
