This is where your mistake is. You can't act as if you know what his ability cap is when he's just 19. All we know at this moment in time is that he is playing well and could get even better. Whether he gets better and how much or how little is not something you or I can assert with absolute confidence, but you appear to be doing so anyways.

When Vidal was 19 he was a promising youngster who moved to Bayern Leverkusen. He was not, however, touted as one of the best midfielders of the future. Don't mistake this as me implying Berardi will be as good as Vidal at any point in his career. All I'm saying is that for all we know he could be, so to simply dismiss that possibility the way you are right now is premature.
the diffrence here is, that vidal showed so much potential, they didnt loaned him out and kept him at the first team, just like we do with pogba

He is very much right again Zach, and you arent almost saying the same thing as him. You are speaking in absolute terms like Berardi's abilities and potential limit is already determined, while he is saying lets wait and see where this promising teenager goes with his talent.
when a player is born, he has a certain maximum potential. His career will determine how close he can actually get

this is why not everyone can become messi or ronaldo if they got the same physique

a player like berardi, he can become great, but not world class.

What does that even mean? Why because he isn't Brazilian and costs 30ml?
the only brazilian player i could stomache at juventus would be Lucas (psg)

And how exactly is it that you know what his maximum potential is?

scouts see it.

good coaches see it.

players dont suddenly get abilities, they devellop
Yes, and Berardi has proven to have abilities.

It doesn't matter how good a scout or coach you are, it is not possible to know exactly how good someone will turn out to be, despite signs of promise. If it were Liverpool would have taken a million of the £35 they paid for Andy Caroll and used it to hire one of these all-knowing scouts to prevent them from wasting all that money.

The fact is that for as many good scouting stories and integrations exist there's at least double the amount of failures. Fully developed, highly rated players often flop, and the amount of speculation involved on the scouts' end in assessing their value is much less than that of a youngster who has the potential to be great.

Just stop assuming you or anyone else knows how good Berardi will become. He's a good player for his age and let's hope that he'll become an amazing player in the future instead of preemptively acting as if he's bound to be a squad player at best for the rest of his career.

Maradona was quoted as saying that Agnelli wanted him to join Juventus (prior to his move to Barca) but that there were some problems @ Fiat at the time that prevented us from acquiring him. This got me to thinking about players we missed out on who could potentially have worn our jersey (we were very close to them at one point).

I can think of Pele, Figo, Cristiano Ronaldo, and the original Ronaldo. Am I missing anyone else worth mentioning? Imagine an attack comprising Del Piero and Ronaldo being backed by Zidane and Davids. That is an insane amount of talent there, just as good as the Barca of Stoichkov, Hagi, and Romario :D

CR7 wouldn't even have mattered because we would have got him for a few seasons, then sold him for good money after calciopoli but then suckofucko would have wasted all the money on more amauris

I wonder how we'll move on after Pirlo. Maybe Conte decides to use a trequartista for more offense? Something like Hamsik for Napoli under Mazzarrri.

Batistuta. Juve watched him when at Boca, decided against.
