Curious, if we end with Eto'o and Romulo, we really haven't improved the top end of the squad.

Who is responsible for this? Is it solely Beppe? Or the board being too restrictive on which players we can buy (not just how much money, but which players)?

And if Beppe's difficulties with significant transactions continue, at what point would we look for a new DG?

At the moment we are in a mess. Most of the top players would like guarantees and a long-term project where they are important and we (and by WE, I don't mean this forum, but the club) aren't quite sure what kind of a formation or style of play to adapt, much less the starters in it.

Would Tevez sign now if we tell him 'you might be playing a RW, LW or AM'? I am not so sure. The same would be for a pure winger told he'd be used in a 4-3-1-2. Obviously prestige and money can compensate that, but considering our budget not for us.
Then there is the question if we fail in this new style would we change both formation and coach? Would we start selling even key players if they don't adapt to the formation or we will try to keep them and switch to a formation that suits them? I think until at least new year we won't have many answers to those questions so we shouldn't expect to see us signing any starters.

If we don't get that am/winger then I'll call this mercato an average one. A lot of money thrown out of the window, no players for starting 11 and a worse coach in comparison to the one we had last season.

Evra - I understand this one even though wages are too high. Not many LBs available these days.
Morata - he's good even though I don't like the numbers of the deal. I kinda find it strange we spend 20m on a bench striker and then decide to go a whole season with Marchisio as am. It doesn't add up.
Pereyra - I don't get this deal. He seems to be an utility player but how many of those do we need? 17m for him is a joke I think. He's not a starting material that's for sure.
Romulo - wtf do we need him for? I guess I'll never understand. We still have Isla and Padoin. For RB spot we have Licht and Caceres, we don't need more.
Coman - very good, low risk and high reward scenario, you can't criticize this move.

if we get Etoo and a CB we don't actually need (!) then I'll give it 5/10, 6 at best. Maybe a bit too harsh but I don't think clubs with weak finances like Juve should do mercato like this. Only a proper am/winger can save this mercato for me. I'm waiting Beppe.

Nah, it doesn't. :)

Only amortization is shown in our income statement, and that cost is spread over duration of the contract.

In balance sheet though you might find under notes the expenditure on players (full amount) for that year and it increases the value of our assets.

I don't know how the acct system works in Italy but in logic when the actual payment isn't paid yet is not put into the book for that financial yr excepet that it maybe how up as account payable AP.

As for amoritazation is another thing, say 15m for 3 installment, 5m per installment, n so each 5m u can depreciate over N yrs, it will hv difference on taxes n others u paid

It might not be totally right but that's what I think

Come on, you and I both know that the results we had last season and the first was a lot due to Conte, yes the players we had were still the same, bar Mirko and Quag, and we bought some nice young players with potential. Now this is however is Allegri's first season and we dont know how the players are gonna react with this change in management, we still had a lot of attacking creativity last season still, yes i know we had millions of shots on target and etc, however we really did lack that killer creativity on the final third.

I dont know but Allegri still does not convince me at all, of course only time can tell, but we really needed a creative attacking player even when Conte was in charge as he had planned 4-3-3, now with Allegri and his more favored 4-3-2-1, i think we need that creative attacking midfielder even more.
By that theory it was conte's fault we failed in europe

According to the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) an asset is recorded to the financial accounts when risk and rewards of that particular asset has shifted to the buyer. So no matter how Juventus pays for these players, the entirety of their value is recorded on day one because Juventus bears the financial risk of them not performing (or injury) and reap the rewards if they perform (value increases).

So this is how a 15 million euro player (nothing paid upfront, payable in three years, lets assume a three year contract with the player) is recorded to the financial statements.

Year 0 (now) Debet+, Kredit-

Player registration rights (asset) 15
Accounts payable (debt) -15

Years 1, 2, 3

Player registration rights (asset) -5
Amortisation (expenditure) 5
Accounts payable (debt) 5
Bank balance (asset) -5

Allegri: 'Relax, the real pre-season will start on Monday when the others arrive’
'On the market I expect a centre-forward. I spoke to Vidal and told him he’s important for me’ TS

Etoo would be a good addition. Instead of Romulo, i prefer Darmian for future starter and for depth this year.

For wingers or an AM we must spend some millions. But i can't know the system that Allegri will follow.

imo if we cant find a good target or we cant afford it now its better to save the money for next year and try to get the best of our current squad, it may look stupid but we have a good team right now and we need an outstanding player not an average one

We have to replace some of our current players(Buffon, Pirlo, Barzagli, Lichtsteiner etc.) in the coming years too.

Funny thing is that we've been saving that money for years now. One would expect us to sign C.Ronaldo at this point.
i dont think juve will buy someone like CR even if they have the money, in our best days we didnt do that we never overpay.
and our current situation is tough seria A not very wanted like before and we have many players getting very old.

I don't think we get allocated a budget, I seriously think each player we want we bring it up with the people that control the club's money and say what do you think?

correct that what make things worse, people think its easy to carry all the team problems at once, we as a fans normally look things now but management focus on the long run

i dont know if the club has separated budget or we are counting on the owners like milan or inter.
but in both cases juve is the best team in italy imo, we own a stadium and we build a new one, we dont overpay in order to get to top we build slowly and stady, look what happened to intermilan moratti want the CL to get it he spend alot of money from the coach to the stuff and what is the result for the title, after three month from getting the title the whole team on sale.
