Juventus is interested in Olympiacos’s Manolas
28/07/2014 - 23:36
di David Amoyal

Today Juventus’ sporting director Beppe Marotta admitted the club is interested in acquiring a new defender, there are many options and the most recent one is Kostantinos Manolas, a central defender born in 1991 who had a strong World Cup for Greece. Manolas is owned by Olympyacos and is considered one of the best prospects in his role, his club is asking for 12 million euro which maybe too much for Juventus. At the moment Manloas is just an idea but he could become a concrete objective.

If you find the signing of Romulo "juicy".

We are linked to Borriello as the 5th striker and we are looking for another cb, the likes of manolas, dede, and zapata
Romulo is a decent signing.

Borriello would be pathetic.

I really don't think we need a defender. Unless we sell Bonucci.

Any rumours on a top forward? Shaqiri, Lavezzi, etc?

Psg want to buy Dimaria so they will have to sell before they buy due to regulations. However they seem pissed that we got Coman for free and that pogba won't join them (for now) so i don't think they will sell us lavezzi. However lavezzi would suit us well.

There's a stench of mediocrity surrounding Juve this pre-season.
It's gotten so far that I now even want Cerci on this team for some much needed offense.
If you fuckers are complaining then, by extension, I should be frenching a shotgun :D

It may feel different but it really isn't - automatic scudetto's in a mediocre serie A only gave you guys the illusion of grandeur. In the end of the day, all that "being the bully in the sandbox" really meant was that you didn't suck as much as all the other toddlers, not that you could actually play with the big kids.

Is this the reason you are a member of this Forum, so that you can feel a part of the big Kidz?

May as well stick with 4 forwards and be done with it. Morata on one leg is better than Boriello.

Mate, look to whom you're responding to. Romulo is rather good signing. If Licht stays he will have difficult task to keep his place.
 :howler: Romulo is a decent signing, but nothing more. He isn't going to displace Licht from the starting lineup; there is a significant gap in terms of quality between the two.

I would like to see Gio on the left. Little further from the goal, cutting in, uhhhh man :tuttosport:
 Are you fucking serious? Let's give the guy an umpteenth chance to prove that he is, once and for all, an utter failure!

we are not weaker in any position, you are our mediocrity
We aren't stronger either. In fact, since the only constant is change and we haven't changed much, then by definition we are somewhat weaker, considering that some of our rivals have strengthened. Coupled with the loss of our inspirational coach, I'd argue that we are most definitely weaker.

The flop here is Manchester United, not him. Or have we forgot how they've been struggling to put together a midfield that clicks for at least 3 seasons now.

I watched most of Borussia matches that season, he was too good. In fact if he manages to play half of what he knows in this weak Serie A, he would be a god among men.

Not sure if just BS rumours but we were linked to him in the past.
Kagawa could be our Nakata  :touched:

I still haven't forgotten how that fucker came on when we were leading 2-0, scored a peach of a goal and helped Roma come back for a 2-2 draw. We lost the title that season :sigh:
