how do we sign world beaters when their price tags are more than what we have to spend overall in the transfer market? And Marotta pulled off Llorente, Tevez, Pogba, Pirlo, Barzagli for peanuts...add Vidal into that mix considering his value is 4 times as much now.

We need to give Marotta some credit. Vidal cost 10m, Pogba 0m, Llorente 0m, Tevez 10m, Barzagli & Pirlo 0m. Those players make up the nucleus of the team for a total transfer fee of around 20m. Vidal & Pogba alone would be worth EU100m collectively, Llorente is probably worth 18-20 and Tevez is at least worth the same for what we paid for him. He has created value of at least 120m on those alone.
Of course he has made mistakes. But the net result is still positive.
Imagine if France wins the world cup. Pogba will be worth a bomb. If someone wants to spend 100m on him (ala Real Madrid), we could truly become a world class team because when it comes to the squad we are loaded with quality in the CM area more than any other. We could use the proceeds to have a much more competitive overall squad. Still wouldn't want him to go of course.

I think of it this way, I would only be in favor of selling pogba OR vidal if it meant that we could get 2-3 world class players for around the same total transfer fee in positions where we are currently weak. Strictly hypothetically, if it meant we got players like Di Maria, Sanchez and a left back for around the same money, then its a no brainer because the overall starting 11 would be better.

We should sign Yedlin. That kid is quality, just turned 20. Let him replace Isla and grow behind Licht. Would be a perfect wingback with great ball control and creativity.
I saw one of the very early pre-season friendlies, before Yedlin had made a professional debut. He is bigger/stronger than he looks.
He was flying by people. And he's grown alot in the past 18 months, passing improved, very good prospect imo. He will not leave for several years though.
Juventus could potentially have 4 players that are worth 185M. 
Pogba 75M, Vidal 55M, Berardi 30M, and Iturbe 25M.

ive just got this image in my head of Padoin, Quag, Peluso and Isla in a warfield running from Marotta on a rooftop sniping them 
im picturing padoin stooping hiding behind a barrel peeping to the left...while marotta is on his right watching him through the scope..just waiting on the call from patarici
while isla is in a fortified room in his home filled to the ceiling with guns and ammo strapped up like rambo...his latino peeps outside the room armed...some on the lawn with shotguns and machetes just waiting to catch sight of marotta...
