Would be a good signing. We could finally use somebody as a LB in a back 4 formation. And the good thing about having somebody like Caceres on the bench is that he can play either position, left or right. That's what i've been saying about building a stronger bench.

Reports say Isla will be gone in the summer and Verona's Romulo will come to replace him.

That's one upgrade. But we really need a heavy hitter to make a dent into the CL next season.

It's starts with a G and ends with a riezmann.

In terms of available quality left backs out there, Coentrao is at the top of the list. I would certainly hope we can negotiate the rumoured 18 mill price tag down. However, I think other teams in Europe would be wiling to pay that.

Interesting how Conte hasn't utilised Caceres for both WB positions...I though Caceres could play both sides, better on the right but still an option for the left. Conte doesn't seem to like that idea.

I have no idea what Conte sees in Ranocchia. Maybe he thinks he can turn him into something. I would have thought Caceres and Ogbonna are good enough back ups. Unless we try to cash in on our back ups...Caceres being rumoured to United....Ogbonna to Liverpool.

Say we do stick with the 3-5-2, which would be pretty disappointing…is there anyway to possibly make it better? Keeping in mind we don't have a huge transfer wallet.

    We need some changes.

Look at the positions we can upgrade in the 3-5-2 and see if that guy can make a difference at a reasonable price tag.

I don't see how we can have a major upgrade with the 3-5-2. That's why I think we'll buy a winger or 2 so we can have the option to change formation.

All you can really do is upgrade the wing backs or buy an advanced midfielder to take Pirlo's place and play behind the strikers.
