Well, there are fundamental problems here

- Di maria absolutely isnt a wingback
- but we cant afford him in the first place
- tevez is not a winger and not effective on the wing, he must play central

WE could afford him if he were part of a deal with Pogba. Also just because a player is put on the wing on paper doesn't mean he will act as a winger. Tevez would move centrally.

I would aim for more quality at the winger spot opposite Di Maria.

Conte can even give his mythical 4-2-4 a shot with Di Maria and a winger with similar work rate.

I like you, but a word to the wise. Don't suggest selling Licht and displacing Barza from the starting 11 around these parts. It usually doesn't end well

Really every single top side in Europe uses wide players. Apart from us.

I know that switching to 433 doesn't magically improve us as some people are suggesting. But at least then we can use some Wingers to improve our width dramatically and also our counter attacking threat. Because if we persist with the style we have been using in Europe, we need personel who can actually counter. As opposed to our current team which has the combined attacking speed of Giggs.
