Really every single top side in Europe uses wide players. Apart from us.

I know that switching to 433 doesn't magically improve us as some people are suggesting. But at least then we can use some Wingers to improve our width dramatically and also our counter attacking threat. Because if we persist with the style we have been using in Europe, we need personel who can actually counter. As opposed to our current team which has the combined attacking speed of Giggs.
This is somewhat true. Having ability to counterattack would be very useful especially in Europe.

The way you defend Rooney is grotesque; hence, why I assumed you have a soft spot for United.

As for the being Egyptian part, I thought your name is Zizo or Zachareyah which are somewhat common names in Egypt, and you changed it to Zizinho (ultimately to make it sound cooler, which is such an Egyptian trait) :D
well you obvioulsy were completely wrong :D

if we by some magic have 50M to spend (+ the sales of not needed players) who would you get. Im all for Cuadrado + di Maria. what a duo that would be :tuttosport:

Excellent, then dont trow a tantrum, leave that to the assigned girls to do so here.
Belgian people are supposed to be good at seeing everthing relative. We must bring this forward, and not be easely offended by peasant comments.

I mean, we allready got a certain group of immigrants for that.

What's everyone's opinion on Sporting Lisbon's Carvalho?
i read on Manchester forums they consider him to be like Yaya in his Barca days. there was a rumour United offered 37M pounds (or €, not sure) for him a few days ago

50 mil will land one of those two. without wages
dont be such a pesimist :D. but landing one of them would be like a dream (without losing anyone from the current squad)

Dude, please stop posting!!!

It has nothing to do with the 3-5-2... that's just a number... if we transformed to some of the 4-3-3's you have suggested, we would play in the exact same way, the problem being, that when attacking, we would now only have one forward. The way our team works, with our wing backs pushing up, mean we almost play a 3-3-4 when we are in control of the game. A 4-3-3 could prove useful in some situations, but not because we write a different formation on the paper - because we would fit our style of play to the situation.

Seems more like you want us to play like Dortmund etc.
They play a very direct, aggresive and counter-attacking-like style, which we don't... Please get it man. Our results in Europe is not only a result of formation, but also of the quality of players, marginals, form at the time of the respective games etc. etc. There are more to it than just wheter we are playing 3-5-2 or 4-3-3.

You are (almost) single-handly destroying this forum. Why does every second post here have to be from you screaming about 4-3-3'n'shit? Please be a little more nuanced...
Said it before and I'll say it again, Rakib is a 13 year old kid. There is no other explanation as to how someone can be so clueless when it comes to these matters.

Well we did give up 10 shots on goal and 17 shots in general. 10 corners and a million crosses. Ambrose missed that sitter of a header in the 6 yard box.

We relied on Matri to counter-attack and somehow he succeeded. We were in a bit of a finishing slump during that stretch of games but somehow we converted every half chance against Celtic in that first leg.

I mean, I guess the tactic worked. Or if you judge it by what we've seen since then you could say that's just the way we play in Europe.
agreed. we didnt really concede possession as a tactic...if that was the plan against an 'inferior' opposition then lol..we were having a hard time getting it and a harder time in possession unable to string decent and simple plays together..alike what we have seen after that match and even in the league to 'inferior' oppositon we just struggled. had a lot of mislpaced passes and botched attacking plays etc etc..nothing is wrong with criticising the team...some of u r either very young or perma-menstruating or just plain ole soft...

we defeated a team that won against Barcelona 3 months ago (won almost twice) confortably with 3-0 and 2-0. so yes, they beat the shit out of us ;)

This is my only concern.
Im praying this will not implode in our faces the next time we face a real good team. Our gameplay is suffering just too much as of late...

Yah, we can say we are tired etc etc...but so are a lot of teams. Players like Pogba and Vidal need to improve heir game if we are serious about winning the EL.

Consider this:
Lichsteiner to Real Madrid for 12M
Cuadrado to Juventus ( 12M to Fiorentina, Isla+4M to Udinese)

3-5-2 formation

Buffon

Caceres Bonucci Chiellini

Cuadrado Vidal Pirlo Pogba Asamoah

Tevez Llorente

4-3-3 formation

Buffon

Caceres Bonucci Chiellini Asamoah

Vidal Pirlo Pogba

Cuadrado Llorente Tevez
wtf is this shit?

our play is fucking shit its unbelievable...nothing in our play says 'top side'...painful to ALOT of times this season...i can only imagine how easy it is for a top team to study us in their classroom sessions...

i love my team but unafraid to call them out on shit
