Define 'after him'.

I don't doubt Juve had some meeting with agents and looked into the practicalities of making a move.

I suspect it didn't go beyond that, though.
If someone can check the Aguero thread if it still exists. Somebody posted even a video of some journalist explaining in details how we were very close to signing him until City came up with a crazy offer.

I would say it at the very least came to a point where we had presented personal terms to the player and followed up on that. That would mean more than one meeting.

A bit, who do you think is a better partner for Llorente a SS like Jovetic or a CF like Higi?
I'm not sure, but i think Jovetic would be better. Though personally i would prefer Higuain much more.

Let's not forget Llorente can play the Zlatan role(Just not as good). So Higuain-Llorente could actually work IMO.

it wont work.

let's say by some miracle we do get higin.

llorente will fail in that role. which means the front line will be higin-vuci/gio and matri-vuci/gio

1. Diego flopped because he had an awful coach and was in the worst seasons in Juventuss history.

2. That was pretty obvious. He never even coached before Juventus.

I don't count Diego as a flop. He was a little bright spot in this terrible season, with better team mates he could be great. He was supposed to link Poulsen/Sissoko/Tiago with Amauri or Iaquinta ffs, even Messi would have problems with that.
