And yet Baggio believes the press everytime they report a deal that has been made, where he fends off the argument that we can't afford to into bidding wars as a pussy mentality. Holy double standards, robin.
I take it we were never interested in Aguero and RvP. And those summer sagas were never coherent. Of course. How could they be, they question the great man's competence? It mustve all just been a smokescreen. Marrotta himself said that the deal that fell through because they didn't want to pay 30m for a player in the last year of his contrct. Ferguson said we were in hard for RvP, and e player himself said he took Juve's blessing before signgjng for United. I wonder why that is. Robin, you can say that again.

This conversation is over. You acknowledge that the curve involves growth and yet speak of it as if there has been none. Who gives a fuck about the players we have if we keep attaining results. And don't hand me inductive reasoning "from this season we can conclude that we don't have what it takes to improve further in the CHL". You don't know, no one does.
Who gives a fuck? The board of directors most certainly do, because they're the ones identifying the players who's worth and value you are currently questioning. And no, you won't have what it takes to improve in this season's CL if you don't make the leap in quality in a position that has been the weakest link of this team. If you believe GDM, we even offered 30m for Jojo at the end of the mercato last season (under Marrotta), an amount you say he isnt worth. Choose to dispute it with me, but im pretty sure someone like GDM is at least a little closer to the truth than either of us are. That said, I'm sure you'll be counting on Llorente to carry the team into a whole new dimension, as much as I like him, I'm not. This conversation is over if you'd like. But you need to be looking at the situation a little less squinted than you choose to be doing so currently.

I don't believe we ever agreed wages with Aguero. We never imo passed to that point as we were overbid by City. Most of the alleged interests for players you read about are pure fabrications.
We may not have agreed personal terms in Aguero's case, but to even be sitting at that table and talk to his agents or whatever, which we very clearly did, we were rumored to be offering 7m in wages. At makes a lot of sense when you consider that he was on 6m at AtM. And if you're saying we weren't interested in either Aguero or RVP, then im happy to disagree with that.

Juventus not giving up on Tevez. We will know more the next week. It will be either City stay, Milan or us.

Nothing new on Jovetic and Higuain. Real wants 30m for Pipita, we are offering 22 max. Its gonna be a long process. Same for Jojo..

Marotta works on Zaza and Ogbonna. Zaza will be signed and loaned to Sasuolo or Parma. Torino wants 50% of Immobile + cash for Ogbonna. Deals could be closed fast.

Oh we were interested. Very interested at that time. But I doubt we ever offered 7M wages. With taxes it would have been 13M almost 10% of our whole revenues at that time. Too much for a single player and don't forget the fee.

i have a dream.

it is to see hernanes in a juve jersey.
Hernanes is the heir to pirlo.
My plan, if I were in charge, would be for one more season of Pirlo as the main man.

I'd then be looking to sign his replacement (not necessarily a direct replacement) and Hernanes would be my first choice as things stand.

Just have to hope he doesn't leave Lazio in the meantime.

So what you're saying is, talks would've gone on for more than a month if we were asking him to take a pay cut to join us, with stellar competition from the likes in the EPL. Why would talks progress and why would he do that under any circumstances, other than the fact that he was born, bred and came through the Juve academy? Which he was not. It amazes me the amount of denial people deal with just to defend Marrotta.

His wage would have increased over the years as our financial situation is substantially better now. And that was the plan. We player on our image card while he was lured with the immediate money to EPL. Can't see how Marotta failed there.

Napoli offering him 2m. He wants 3m. Juve offering 2.5m plus bonuses. Conte want. But there is a possibility we will wait it out and get him on a free next season if AdL doesn't relent from the 10m price tag. Juve are willing to pay 4-5, for him currently.

The types of deals Marotta thrives on. Local players with a bit of experience, but nothing special  :notbad:
