IF we want to invest money in our midfield this year, i'd rather go for the LW and RW positions..
for the central 3 we have Pirlo, Vidal, Marchisio, Pogba and Asamoah (if we buy a good LW we could place Asamoah back on his original position) so Verratti only if he comes cheap

It's funny how you think things through and decide to come here and state it when it's already the topic of discussion...
Off my head I couldnt think of any available top class dribblers in the world. Everyone says we need such a player and point to completely impossible transfers all the fucking time.. The result of my search let me to, obviously, Alexis Sanchez yet again. His Fifa ratings convinced me sort of, to believe he could turn into a Ribery-kind-of-player for us. Watching the game yesterday, I realized the true difference of a team like Bayern and Juve. They have not only Ribery, but multiple players who dribble way better then our players. If you compare their top striker, Mandzukic, with someone like Matri you will understand, watching the way they move, why Matri is not good enough for a team as ambitious as Juve. In my opinion we could only reinforce this Juventus team by adding world class individuals in terms of Ribery-kind-of players. Sign a fucking ball player! Sign a copy of Messi or Ribery - be it Sanchez or whoever. If you want to dominate possession you need a fucking dribbler or two - and Giovinco is yet again proving he lacks the desire to be that player

we are going to loan some players (bendtner and anelka style) so selling is something we could do...

Like the good old days... a 30-40M player a season...
Apart from that time we invested with Zidane's transfer fee, when did we pay such amounts for players? Thuram, Nedved and Gigi are the only ones I can think of.

All under 22 and given stars as of how high i rate them myself. These are all possible additions with great dribbling skills..

100% agreed.
Except perhaps for Giovinco - he has the desire, he just doesn't have the qualities imho. Either his best is under a completely different position or he simply is found wanting in a top club. The truth is that even if he is better in a different formation/position he isn't as good to make the team suit his game. So either we are planning to switch starting formation or he must leave come end of season.

Moggi got that part better than Marotta. You need top quality players, sometimes even at the expense of a long bench. I can't imagine that a 25+ year old, knowing, along with the rest of earth, he is never going to be good enough to start here would be more motivated to get a game than one of the thousand 'promising youngster' we are building an army of. Sure mistakes have been made due to unforeseeable reasons (Isla being quite obvious) , but others were preventable and sometimes even a display of management inabilities.

I am somehow satisfied though, unless the players let their heads drop and lose the title, as it is painfully obvious to anyone what needs to be done next summer. That leaves our board with little choice... Whoever stays or goes I want to see a few smart signings to get the quality up, but most of all I want to see some 'depth' players generating funds for us.

I agree with most of this but a ball player doesn't always have to be a great dribbler. Just someone comfortable with the ball who can be creative and make one touch passes if need be.

An AM like Isco (can't think of others) would make so much difference in certain games. Hell, even Diamanti would make a difference in keeping possession when teams press us. Just holding the ball for one or two extra passes can open up any defense.
