I surely wouldn't say no to Rooney, provided he'd lower his wages.

However, I doubt we could afford his transfer fee, let alone his wages.
Rooney would be perfect. But impossible.

Rooney has weight problems, i.e. he's a fat bastard. That's basically the only downside United have with him.

Him playing in Italy could go one of two ways; very well or very badly, depending on him buying into the concept of eating properly and training hard.

Rooney is good around the dressing room at Man Utd, but I'd imagine it would take him about 14 years to learn conversational Italian.

Somehow I don't think Pirlo would be jealous.

People think he put on a fat suit to shoot that commercial, but that was just filmed off season. He's like the Ricky Hatton of football.

I've heard he doesn't take care of himself at all and can develop attitude problems (well we've all heard the shit he says on the pitch, and to the cameras).

Why would he leave England anyway? He has it made there and has won everything at club level.

Don't think Rooney will leave Man Utd.

Ferguson had one specific tactical plan that Rooney didn't fit into, so the English press have decided that must be the end of Rooney at Man Utd.
