Well I think things are very clear for us. We need a SS and that's basically it. But not a winger type of ss, brainless runner like in Premier League; the style which fits the best is an intelligent playmaker who can play basically like Vucinic does, keeping possession, being able to create chances, but mainly being able to finish better, with better concentration, workload and decision making.

So, for 2013-14 we'll have at the beginning 7 forwards: Llorente, Vucinic, Matri, Giovinco, Quagliarella, Bendtner, Anelka.

First of all, I don't see any sense in this obsession for having a 5th striker. Use a primavera kid for this spot, man. Let the youngsters in co-own we have develop in their current clubs. We don't have to spend 5M for one of them right now, letting him rot in the bench.

Then return Bendtner and Anelka to their clubs. OK.

Quagliarella is a useful squad player. But he's getting old, Conte doesn't play him much. Sell him for let's say 6M.

Then u have 4 players: Llorente, Matri, Giovinco, Vucinic.

Giovinco was supposed to be an SS, but he proved to be too stupid/nervous/selfish for this. So he's a midget CF, who finishes very well, but chokes on big games. Sell him for 10-12M for an English club (I'm sure he'd have market there, he suits well British football).

So, let's say Juve will have 25M for new players. This plus 18M from the sales of Gio and Quags = let's say around 40M for a very good SS.

Giovinco is not leaving juve, and quag will not land 9 mil.

That + wages are quite the stumble

We absolutely dont have 40 mil for a single player

Oh, also Anelka wont be staying likely, just saying

Well I said Quags would land about 6M.

Gio can go if Conte and Marotta think so. I'm not talking about what I think they'll do, I'm saying what I think they should do.

I think that Juve can perfectly make available around 20M for new signings. We've spent much more than this in previous seasons and now the club is collecting much more money with the new stadium and CL. If we sell 2 of our current strikers, something around 15/20M for them is very reasonable. So 40M in total.

Anyway, it's my opinion of what has to be done. I also don't think they'll get rid of Giovinco.

LOL.

I was thinking that Jovetic would perfectly fit Juve. Vucinic is a poor man's Jovetic IMO. Both are not very quick. But Jovetic is more intelligent, better decision making, much better finishing, more creative... perfect to play behing Llorente. Perfect for keeping possession and playmaking. Also, when Pirlo is gone, it will be important to have another very creative guy floating between midfield and attack.

The biggest concern is his health.

But as of right now, I think he would be the best fit with the best realistic shot we'd have. We need intelligent players in this team to follow the midfielder's play, I don't think Sanchez would be the right guy.

Jovetic would be very interested to come, his agents as well. He's not having a breaktrough season, his price won't be more than 30M.

The biggest issue would be the Berbatov issue. But offering 25/30M in installments + Quagliarella would probably solve the problem. We would have to pay a bit more, but would still get the player.

People talk a lot about Suarez, but honestly... we don't stand a chance. The guy will go for no less than 45/50M.

Rooney is also pretty fucking expensive, he makes 11M/year. No way.

Falcao, Cavani, are CFs and 60M worthy. Mario Gomez would be an interesting option, as Dzeko and Lewandoski, but they are all CFs and we already have Llorente.

I think Jovetic should be the priority here. Jovetic/Llorente, with Vucinic/Matri as backups would be a pretty damn improvement.

We could think about other players like Isco, Muniain (haven't followed him though), Arda Turan, Grizemann, but these guys are all gambles and most of them play as wingers. Decision making is not their thing. Apart from Isco I guess.

Vuci can be pure magic...he may not score but he can build up every goal in one game. I wouldn't compare him with JoJo that much. JoJo is the kind of player that I like more, but people here really are talking too much shit about Vuci.

Other options could be Hernanes (but he's expensive and wouldn't take us to the next level), James Rodriguez.

Maybe get a go at Pastore...

Thats a diffrent thing what you said there

40 mil on players, i could see that happen aswel, but not 40 mil on ONE player

Good post

Agreed with the part i cut off, that those players are unrealistic.

SS should be the only thing we should keep an eye out, but the economic aspect is important

Jovetic for a good price, wich looks like a possibility, is good. also consider the effect of vucinic as a mentor.

Isco, I love that kind of player, technique, speed, controll, dribbeling, vision, decisions, creativity passing, shooting. BUT can he score ?
If he could develop into a scoring SS we would have a beast of a player.

Scoring ss, is the only ss to go after. we dont need another creative winger played out of position.
