Lol, no. I have actually seen Barca play more than a few times this season. He was particularly bad in the Malaga coppa game at home. They started him in that game in order to try get his confidence back. Instead he made some Torres-like misses and people literally cursed him to hell when he was subbed off.

First of all, don't tell me how many games I have seen Barca played this season. Something tells me I have seen more games than you.

Zlatan wasn't a succes in Barcelona, no. He was good the first couple of months when he played in position, but then he started to get played out of position because Messi wasn't happy. He still wasn't bad there and certainly a lot better than Sanchez is now. Anyway, the main reason why Zlatan didn't work out in Barca was because of his relationship between him and Guardiola while Sanchez isn't working out because he simply isn't good enough for the position.

so the simple conclusion is a player's performance in the shadow of messi is hardly an indication of their potential somewhere else as best displayed by our friend Zlatan.

Well, first of all I haven't mentioned the Milan game at all. That game wasn't particularly bad from his side, it was just the whole Barca team being bad. When mentioning the Malaga it was just to give you an example to show that I had actually seen him play besides that game. He has been shit the whole season, and that can't be argued.
I guess this is the time I should write "Surely you are sharp enough to get that", but I honestly have a hard time seeing the need for that approach.

Sure, Sanchez could turn out to be a good investment - even for 25-30 mio. But is he worth that amount of money now? Not in my opinion - even when considering him being played OOP and together with Messi. I think we would be better of saving those money, we don't need Sanchez desperately. This is what I'm saying. If we can get him for 15 mio, it might be cheap enough for it to be a good investment in my opinion.

Now, instead of bashing my arguments, I will suggest you to try to come with some counter arguments. So far it has been "So Zlatan played well" and "So you are basing it on 1 game" comments.

He did not play the entire season "out of position". Its not like barcelona uses classic wingers, every time i saw him, he was drafting towards the center. His main issue is that barcelona isnt a counterattacking team.
Sanchez is good for a counter team, but struggles for a team that presses and makes the play
we press and make the play. and a choker thats only good on counters, we allready have at half the size.
yeah, some say he's not that bad, etc.
I'll prefer suarez or jovetic.

i actually did counter your argument, hence the change in your tone and and rationale, which i actually have nothign against, just compare the above with:
