I heard Ancelotti might be replacing Mourinho at Real Madrid. As a repercussion to that, I heard Verratti would want to leave if Ancelotti leaves.

Hopefully we snap him up, but I feel as though Milan will fight hard for him and that they'd have first dibs on him.

:sigh:

Sanchez is not close to the class of player relative to his position that Verratti will become and almost already is. Thinking long-term, it's a no-brainer to try and secure 10+ years of an elite regista then a good second striker.

It's almost like rejuvenating Pirlo for another 10 years. No brainer.

1st priority: Sanchez
2nd priority: Verratti
3rd priority: Ogbonna
The big question is, will Marotta act fast when negotiating & not leave it to the last minute? If other clubs think barca are willing to let go of sanchez surely we won't be the only club bidding for his services.

Ogbonna would be the long term Barzagli replacement.
WC next year, don't see that happening.

Ogbonna would surely not start, no matter what.

Chiellini, Bonucci, Barzagli, Ranocchia would start ahead of him. And because he's not a natural LB, Criscito, Barlzaretti and Peluso would start over him there.

He's going to be on the bench this WC, no matter what.

14 milions for backup for our defence of Bonucci, Chiellini and Barzagli? Is this guy so much better than Caseres? And what about our young defenders. I think about this move very often, but I still think it's unnecessary. And he is from Torino, c'mon!

I think we are looking for a Barzagli backup. He's great but he's not getting any younger and I think that we are trying to find a long term substitute for him.

That may be true but why would he run the risk of warming the bench club level & not getting enough time to impress Prandelli? Just doesn't make sense unless he gets a guarantee that he'd be a starting eleven player for which ever new team he joins.

Playing for Juve is pretty much like buying a ticket for Rio 2014.

Look at the Giac.

Edit: Yeah I obviously agree he'll be cautious. Milan might be his preferred destination too, if Torino don't want to negotiate with Juve.
