Juve does not need a forward particularly badly this summer because they have got Llorente.

By all means, sign one if a good opportunity presents itself, but it isn't essential.
Perhaps the first time I have completely disagreed with one of the handful of members who regularly post common sense and sound football observation.

We are exceptional with our first choice of CBs and GK and CMs and L/RWB. We are far from exceptional with any starting combination of our present forwards.

A serious challenger/substitute for Asamoah would be welcome.
Caceres is a top class sub for any CB position. Marrone has shown he can also play there competently and surely will only improve with more experience in the role. Lichsteiner is easily our strongest defensive right flank player and he ain't half bad going forward either, forcing the issue often enough to make more good than bad happen in the final third. Pogba is growing into the rough outline of a world class talent, for his age, and what he is already achieving.

All of the following don't seem out of place in a squad challenging to return as a continental force, not just domestic powerhouse alongside napoli (who are likely to be weakened dramatically when Cavani leaves in the Summer...but who would come in his place?? They will have champions league football, fervent support, colourful history, solid team, passionate city)

Buffon
Chiellini
Bonucci
Barzagli
Lichsteiner
Caceres
Asamoah
Pogba
Vidal
Pirlo
Marchisio
Isla
Llorente
Marrone
Matri

I'd have no problem seeing any of the following leave the club, if superior replacements came in their place, even at the cost of two of these guys for one better player-
Giovinco, Vucinic, Quagiarella, Giaccherini, Padoin, Peluso.

I'm of the opinion that we have the nucleus of a very stront, eager and well knit squad. With most of our forward line and the utility men falling foul of the line of quality drawn by the others. Simone pepe I am presently unwilling to put in either camp. he was damn useful last season, and he still could be this season, but in what position??? he needs to play wide in a 4-3-3. I guess that would give Isla the chance to play in his mor natural role. Pepe-Matri-Isla could be fun.

Our attack is the weakest department in our squad.

Jeremain Lens and Jackson Martinez have been consistently performing at high levels for club and country this year

Both would be terrific additions to our squad in place of Matri and Quaqliarella!

How to play alongside Pirlo?
"It 's the dream of every boy. But we are in the same role, hardly able to play together. "

It could be the heir, even with Juventus.
"I'm all right in France. And until June rest to PSG. "

He said until June, and yet has a long contract.
"But why in summer there is a market, and you never know what can happen. Does not depend on me. "

Would return to Italy?
"It 's one of my wishes, although in France and I'm fine set. One day I will return to play in Serie A, a very competitive championship. "

Juve has never stopped thinking about her, what do you think?
"What pleases me, because it is a great club and it means I'm doing well."

PSG bought Verratti for 12m. He is very young talent and plays for NT team with 2 more years in his contract. I would say his value will not be less than 14m in June.

At any case the last thing we need is more SSs and CMs, esp bellow average ones as Poli.
I doubt that Marotta will ever found a decent dedicated LB/LWB, so i guess that we will have to settle with a CM playing there...
Hopefully we will buy a decent dedicated CB, to rotate the starter this time and not sign a free wasted player like Lucio again.
I am curious to see what will we do with the Llorente's sub. We can chooce many option from an Immobile to a Cavani one, depending on how much faith we put on him.

Hopefully, after a decade buying subs, this time we will spend our entire budget on a couple, 3 at max new players.

Two Scenarios, what do you prefer?
Assuming that we are getting 2 CB's, FW, LWB sub, Pirlo's sub.

1. Getting Belfodil/Muriel for 12m, Verratti for 14m, Diakite for free, Sorensen for 5m, Kolarov for 12m. = 43m, very doable.

2. Getting Sanchez for 25m/Jovetic for 20/25 + player, Poli/Obiang half for ~ 4m, Diakite for free, Sorensen for 5m, Kolarov for 12m. = 46m, doable.

The one that has the better forwards, meaning 2nd one, even if I would love Verratti to be signed in general. But Belfodil/Muriel leave much to be desired as our attack signing.

That 6-7 procent of Khadafi, what's up with that? Is it owned by Juve or what? If it is, we should sell it to a man with a lot of money so that we have extra cash:p

@ Tacchinardi
None:D

Diakité, Doria, Kolarov, Poli (but i prefer Obiang/Verratti), Jovetic & Llorente would be nice = 55-60 million
De Ceglie, Ziegler, Melo, Giaccherini, Quagliarella = 30 million

We have enough CM cover in Pogba, Maronne and Asamoah, the same cannot be said about the dedicated CB trio. So until Pirlo retires from first team footbal we are set.
Kolarov/Digne would be great but above Marotta's capabilities...
It would be a waste to waste 25 mil on a 3rd first class SS, just to bench Vucinic and Giovinco, rather than getting another decent CF to rotate with the free Llorente. (unless we use the trident and keep Anelka as Llorente's sub)
In case a Llorente injury suspension, our next choice would be Matri/Immobile...wich is much weaker than any of Vucinic or Giovinco alternative choices.

For now, the Uruguay international insists he and his family are happy on Merseyside, but when asked by Spanish radio station Marca if they should "talk about his future again in June," Suarez stated bluntly: "Yes, we should talk this June or the next one, in 2014. My contract ends in 2018."

"Hopefully, we can put a fight on for him between now and the end of the season to finish fourth and we make a decision for him," Gerrard was quoted as saying in The Sun.

"Only he knows what his ambitions and dreams are. Luis deserves to be in the Champions League - everyone has to admit that. Outside of Leo Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, I'll argue he's as good as anyone else.

Current: Vidal-Pirlo-Marchisio.

Then we sell Vidal to RM, and Pirlo retires. Obiang takes Marchisio's place.

Future: Pogba-Verratti-Obiang.
