And still I highly doubt that we will sell him for only 15m. He had a great season, he is the best RB in Italy and on of the best in the world, we are in financially stable position and in no need to sell. Also we paid 10m for him last year, and club owned by Arabs wants him. I know that many don't rate Marotta at all, but even him is not that stupid.

Would you rather not sell Licht and remain as we are in the strikers department?
The thing is, we shouldn't be in a position where we must sell our top performer to sign our striker need. It's been obvious we needed a striker before the transfer window even opened.

And I think it's BS too, why the heck would Fiorentina come out and say they rejected a 20M offer for Jo-Jo from us, interest in RVP. We have money, I think.

No doubts that we have money. But you never know with the mercato. I like Lichtsteiner a lot but I think that the club seems to think that he is not the ideal candidate for the 3-5-2. We are pretty much well covered on the right. The only problem I see here is the 15M fee reported. I think we can easily sell him for 20M when clubs like PSG come knocking. And finally, maybe we have the 18M for Llorente and the 15-20 M would be used for Jovetic.

I heard Man City are really keen on Jovetic. Potentially willing to bid EU30m which we were not ready to offer - Juve only went as far as 20m. Fiorentina would most likely accept 30m. If that is the case, Man C may then decide to sell Dzeko and Juve would be willing to go up to 25m for him I reckon. I would still prefer Dzeko to Llorente.

I hope we don't sell Lichsteiner. 15m is a "fair value" for Licht but he is an important player for us and I don't see why we should sell him unless they bid an excessive value which would mean a figure over 20m. I also don't buy this BS about him not playing in the 352 etc. He will easily play at least half of the matches for Juve this season and would not be beyond doubt when we use 4 at the back - which we most definitely will during the campaign. Caceres is there but lets face it - Licht > Caceres

Fuck PSG, and fuck selling Licht for 15M to fund buying Peluso and Llorente/Dzeko :yuck: :inter:

If Marotta approves/endorses this deal, he's an even bigger idiot than I thought he could possibly be.
Well, from a business and sporting point of view, its a good deal. We're getting a backup LB and a top striker while only losing one of our 4 RWBs. We still have Caceres, Padoin, and Isla who can play there. Caceres can also play as a RB if a 4-3-3 is needed.

From a fan point of view, its sad. Lichtsteiner plays with his heart out. It would be tough to see him leave.

Anyways I don't think it'll happen so we got nothing to worry about.

He probably will. Not the fastest Moped on the Pier.
Did I ask you to speak for me? Kindly shut the fuck up. Thank you :D

It shouldn't come down to this. Marotta knew a striker was a priority, and should've targeted a striker first, and ensured we had the budget for a quality finisher before wasting money right, left, and center. Having said that, I honestly don't believe it's imperative that we sell Licht in order to acquire a striker. I don't think Marotta is that stupid or short-sighted, at least I hope he isn't.

I totally agree with that. I was surprised that we secured deals for Asamoah, Isla, Pogba, Lucio etc way before securing a center forward. That would have been priority number 1 and target number 1.
