Honestly, I have no idea how can they compare him with Vidic. I've seen one match where he was great, but our links to him are too weird IMO as he didn't show anything special and he recently came to Red Star. I think we missed great players when we didn't go after Savic and Nastasic when I was saying.

I don't think Cassano has the required mentality to be a role/backup player, honestly. He would freak out one time or the other. But yes, way better than Qualiagrella.
