balotelli i growing on me, for a long time i didnt really like him. But he is special, and has so much character. The celibration of the 2. goal was pure class and that should never be a yellow card. i consider him the best talent on the face of this earth, and for this reasons i would like him at juve. He is a winner and his future is full of win :)
lol but you don't like Giovinco.

Buffon

Barzagli-Bonucci-Chiellini

Isla/Licht-Vidal-Pirlo-Marchisio-De Ceglie

Vucinic/Gio-Dzeko

Likely next season's lineup ?

---------- Post added 29.06.2012 at 04:14 ----------

I wish De Ceglie had gone to the EUROS..Would've been a great experience for him.
Right on. I'd only say that Dzeko will arrive as the starting CF along with Vucinic. Giovinco will have to win his place in the team.

The bench would be: Storari, Alves, Caceres, Asamoah, Giaccherini/Pepe, Giovinco, Matri/Quagliarella

Litch and Giac or Pepe and Matri or Quagliarella would be out of the bench...

hehe no, they are as different as they come. gio is nowhere near balotellis level, and he will never even reach balos current level. Balo will reach the stars, while gio will, at most, be a important player for a midtable club...
balo acts, plays and talks like a winner, gio does the opposite (i know he had a good season, but take away 4 penalty goals, and factor in over 3000min of football, its not imressive anymore) lol :p

balo is mentally superior to most ppl and footballers. think about all the shit he has been through, on and off the field allready. He always responds positive on the field and is cool as ice, no matter what. Only a serious inj. would stop him becoming best in the world.

So, the positive thing about him is that he is good at dealing with the shit he himself causes? Wow, thats a great quality to have.

it is, you really think it is easy beeing 21y old and in the media for everything you do?

besides that, his talent and ability as a footballer speaks for itself.

You know who was one more good season from being a super-super star? Adriano.
I think that it was a little different with Adriano.

As crazy as Balotelli is, and yeah, he is capable of doing stupid things, he has never shown the tendency to fall into various states of depression the way that Adriano did. Adriano's mental issues were more akin to an illness than anything else. Constantly being homesick, vicious bouts of depression, especially after his father died, and the like.

Also, physically speaking, Adriano never had the body type where you would look at him and say that he is 100% fit and lean. maybe for a year or so you could say that. More often than not, it was never the case with him. Adriano putting on 10 lbs, for instance, was very noticeable. Balotelli is a physical specimen who takes care of his body.

All things being equal, I think that it is apples and oranges when comparing the two

He's not the first nor the last 21 year old player to be in the spotlight.

And of course you'll be in the media spotlight when you get 5 red cards a season, burn down your house, throw darts at youth players, drive around with cash on your car seat "because you can", etc, etc... the examples are countless.

My problem with Balotelli isnt that he's immature, its that he is a complete and utter asshole. And we dont need that.
