Caceres would embrace Suarez
By Football Italia staff

Martin Caceres would love international teammate Luis Suarez of Liverpool to join him at Juventus next season.

The striker has been paired with a Turin switch and Caceres has revealed that the two have talked about the Old Lady on international duty.

“I’ve known Suarez for a lifetime,” the defender told Tuttosport. “We’ve been roommates in the Uruguay set-up for seven years.

“He’s a friend, a nice guy and a great attacker. A lot of bad things are said about him, but the problem is that he struggles to explain himself because he doesn’t speak a lot of English.

“Juventus? It’s true, we have talked about Juventus and he’s asked me about the club without going into specifics about the players.

“I told him that Juventus are an outfit that wants to always win.”

Although Caceres added that the former Ajax man was content in England, Juventus may be tempting to him.

“He’s happy in Liverpool, but he liked what I told him about Juve,” the January signing stated. “After all, who wouldn’t want to play for such an ambitious club?

“Let me put it this way, I would be happy to share a room with him at Juventus too,” he laughed.

Completely agree. I still find El Shaarawy an interesting prospect, but there's something that draws me more to Borini or Destro.

I agree. I have high hopes for both and wishes that one of them will come to Juventus one day.
And just who of the two do you consider a SS? I know your answer; Borini. But I have to disagree. Borini is nothing more creative then Destro and Borini is nothing more techinically gifted then Destro(who I also consider very technically gifted for a CF).
Destro is my choice of the two - just because Borini made it to Chelsea when he was younger does not make him a bigger talent/prospect.
The obvious difference, and you can compare them for they are both goal-netters, is that Destro is physically superior. As of right now that is the only real difference in the two..

Milan keen to re-sign Matri for 16m

The Rossoneri are keen to add another target man to their squad ahead of the 2012-13 campaign after letting Maxi Lopez return to Catania, and head coach Massimiliano Allegri sees the 27-year-old Matri as a good addition to his attacking options.

Allegri previously worked with Matri at Cagliari from 2008 and 2010, and would relish the prospect of taking the striker under his wing again.

Matri is a product of the Milan youth academy, but never managed to secure regular first-team action with the San Siro club. He eventually ended up at Cagliari after a number of loan spells, before joining Juve in January 2011.

The forward has since developed into an important first-team member with the Bianconeri, but they are believed to be ready to cash in on the player this summer as they look to bring in Napoli's Edinson Cavani.

However, the Turin club's asking price of €16 million could prove to be a problem for Milan, who lack the financial resources to make any big-money signings

Opinions on such an offer? They get 20m from Malaga for Robinho and give us 16m for Matri? :D

Oh come on dude you don't seriously believe that Ac want Matri and that Galliani would pay 16 mil for him he would probably offer about 10 mil for Matri in 3 installments

I never said one was a classic SS.

I'm just saying if I had to pick between El Shaarawy, Destro or Borini, I'd pick Borini. But I would always welcome Destro as well. As for El Shaarawy, he's been tainted by the senior AC Milan jersey but I still find him an interesting prospect for Italian football.

We have Agnelli and not Sheik Agnelli :D
It's not entirely impossible. With a few player trades (Pazienza, Padoin, Melo, Ziegler, Elia, Krasic, Immobile, and a few other youngsters can be used to lower the cash component). Giroud won't cost more than 20 Million Euros (unless he has a stellar Euro), and Suarez can be acquired for 25 Million + Krasic.

Sales of Elia, Melo, Ziegler, and Pazienza should generate a further 23 Million Euros, which can be used to acquire Verrati and Ogbonha.

Agnelli's net worth is 71.9 billion im sure he could squeeze in abit of cash to get either Suarez,Cavani or Rvp ,which I actually think will be his "gift" to Juve. Hopefully it's not some stupid extra star on our home shirt or something lame like that. Now that would be bloody stingy,

Suarez, Cavani, or RVP shouldn't be regarded as a gift, but as a necessity. A "gift" would be someone like Neymar or Gotze :klin:
@Mark: Any news regarding Ocampos? If he were to come here, how much would the operation cost, and would he be utilized by the first team or Primavera?
