If Napoli won´t sell Cavani since Lavezzi is leaving, lets wait 1 year for him, and buy Destro to challenge with Quaq or Matri or Boriello for ST next season.
Then we can go-all-in for a prober RW like Suarez (Even though Suarez is not a natural RW) while also being able to buy a prober LB/LWB and CB.
If we manage to buy Asamoah or Naingollan + Verratti + Pogba for MF + bring back Giovinco too, we have a CL-ready team right there.
In 2013/2014 we add Cavani, and all of sudden, we are CL-favorites:-D
(Getting all above PLUS Cavani is simply financial impossible in only 1 mercado)

When speaking about a prober LB/LWB and CB, the names I have heard most is Kolarov/Capuano/Santon/Armero and Ogbonna/Astori/Zapata/Borchetti/Dede.
For CB I rate all the mentioned players except Borchetti, but for LB/LWB I haven´t seen/heard much of them during the last year or so - will someone open a thread dedicated to whom they prefer for LB/LWB? :)

Not bad, but why waste money on Santon? Where is Suarez? What about Verratti?
Santon is a superb left back - naturally left footed, great defending, young but matured in the EPL. quality for 4-3-3 formation with both defending and attacking abilities. An alternative is Diego Contento of Bayern Munch.

Suarez is not there. he is an important part of Liverpool's rebuilding process and their best offensive player, they would never let go of him. Suarez is 25 turning 26 and Jovetic is 22 turning 23. I value JoJo almost at the same level and that at a younger age. Giovinco is another addition equal to Suarez.

Verratti is not ready for Juventus next season. He loves Juve and will prefer a move to us so we can play a little with him. He needs to stay with pescara for another year to grow and we should definitely sign him next season ut id prefer to let him stay in Pescara for another season. We should however reach if Roma approaches him given the Zeman appointment.

Santon is a left back, Capuano is centre back.

Santon is naturally right footed and a left back though he has a very good left foot and plays the LB very well (relatively to his RB). Not superb, maybe Balzaretti level in a few years.

Capuano is a LB.

I would use Capuano as CB..

On Santon: We are talking about a 22 year old italian footballer with great potential. Of course he isn't world class.. Quality and price usually go hand in hand, guys.

Honestly, I don't think there will be another purchase up top besides Suarez, maybe Destro will be bout. Having said that, I think Vucinic-Quag/Matri-Suarez is a Champions league level trident seeing the kind of midfield they'll be playing in front of.

For me, Suarez, Destro, Asamoah, Kolarov with Verratti and Pogba going on loans would be a fantamercato. However, i would not be against the idea of getting Drogba on a free to complement Suarez.

Vucnic-Drogba-Suarez. Fuck yeah. :D

Kolarov meh, Santon might be worth something but it depends on his price.

Martinez is awful i truly believe no one is going to make a move for him even if we beg them.

Take my word on this; we are not going to sign Cavani or Suarez. Kolarov is good but I would rather want Santon.. Maybe that's just me.. I like seing a young squad capable of competing with the giants. Santon is great for Newcastle.

Cavani will cost anyone interested at least 40 million € = No interest
Suarez will cost anyone at least 30 million € but i doubt that is even enough as he is considered key player in Liverpool. = No interest

We need to sign our own stars, make them world famous in Juve instead of throwing big money after proven players. Maybe you guys are not aware of it but Jovetic is one of the worlds best second strikers and he is only 22 years old. Jovetic would be the perfect "player X" we missed out on last year - he will turn world class in a season or two!!!
