Juve reject €60m for Vidal & Marchisio
By Football Italia staff

Juventus reportedly rejected a €60m offer from Bayern Munich for Arturo Vidal and Claudio Marchisio.

According to Tuttosport, the German club made contact with their Turin counterparts earlier this summer and they were ready to dig deep to net the duo.

Bayern boss Jupp Heynckes is understood to have been the architect behind the failed bid for the midfield two.

Juventus already rejected approaches from Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain for Vidal at the end of last season.

It’s also not the first time that Bayern have gone for the Chilean given that Juve pipped them to his signature in 2011 when Bayer Leverkusen made him available for transfer.

Marchisio, an Italian international, is a youth-team product and is considered as a future captain of the side.

TS:Juve could soon make an offer for Diakite who has an expiring contract and unwilling to renew.
Tuttosport who said Armero was a done deal?

I like Diakite, but we're good with our CB's atm. Milan on the other hand are in need of a CB who Barbera Berlusconi likes :p

Gazzetta reported on a possible swap involving Pazienza and Diakite.

I think he'll leave in the end but i agree Milan need him more than we do.

Just reading the last couple of pages, and I'm reading, that it's the market's fault we couldn't get ourselves striker.

Man, some of the apologists. It's hilarious how people think Marrotta is the one being hard done by.

Is Marotta's fault that he doesn't have Abramovich or rich Arab to back him? How much other clubs spent in Italy? I would say we are the biggest spenders so far.

and what I wanna know is how the hell is javi martinez worth more then marchisio or vidal on the transfer market? Martinez is a very good player but come on he's not as good as vidal and i'm not gonna compare him to marchisio because their different players but just saying skill wise marchisio is levels ahead of martinez

Therein lies the contradiction, my love. To be the biggest spenders and still in all likelihood end up with Borriello. But lets wait till Friday, there's time to make a fair judgment.

In Italy we are but long gone are the days when we could spent 30M on a single player.
the agnelli's are actually loaded we could spend chelsea and city money if we wanted too but that's not how we operate on the transfer market
They run other businesses as well. They can't invest all profits in Juventus. It would be iresponsible to other companies.
