just so you know people right now the mercato is being done together by marotta and conte if behrami comes that means that conte wants him and has given his aproval
note that palombo costs 4 mil behrami 6
instead guarin if he comes in january blocks caceres and costs 11 mil and naingolan if he comes costs 15 mil and that is a lot triple the price of the first 2
i am sure that marotta and conte will look good at their option and make the choice carefully
and if caceres doesn't come the next name after is bochetti it should be a loan i think

I'm sorry, but just because they are working together doesn't mean I trust all their decisions. Pirlo, Vidal, Licht, and Vucinic have worked well, but that's because these guys are quality. Bochetti, Behrami, Palombo, and the like are sorely lacking in quality. We don't need more fillers in the team; we already have enough of those. We beefed the contingent even more by adding that walking STD Borriello. I just wish Conte had a more proven and competent sporting director to work with.

Btw, Benatia will not cost more than 15 Million Euros. As for Nani, if we offer Man United Krasic, I'm sure we could get him for 18-20.

what will ferguson need krasic for ?
benatia is udineses and pozzo always comes up with high prices
actually reserves are needed in defense and middfield since next year with CL to be competitive you need to have a decent bench and at least another middfielder is needed and in defense you need reserves to fullbacks i would prefer caceres since he is a more quality sub but bochetti should be a loan from what i now

with only pazienza and marrone next year with CL u won't do good lischt would die from overrunning and pirlo would get a heart attack after 2 months

Tak!

Haha, yeah. Marotta has done a couple of good deals though I'll give him that. He has done a decent job. But a lot of really mad decisions as well. Conte ought to have said "I really need a goal scorer up front" and when Marotta shows up holding Boriello's hand Conte must have been like "Really? Well... fine...". I'm curious however to see how Marotta will do next mercato. He might prove me wrong, I might even stop ridiculing him. Might. I just hope we don't get him any long-term contract.

Benatia would be a good buy, I agree! :) I'd only bring Behrami as a backup for Lich IF he cut down his salary. Same about Palombo and since I haven't seen Bochetti play since he left for Russia all I have to go on is my gut. And my gut sais: He's Italian and therefor he is overrated.

There are better fillers than Palombo who is meh, and Behrami who happens to be absolute shit.

If we are being linked with Guarin and that cool dude from Cagliari, then the other options should be around the same level, not a grade or two below. I'd rather give Appelt and Marrone a chance to prove themselves.

the gut should be he is italian and therefore he is underrated
meh in my opinion italian players are being underrated these days
instead young players from other countries get very high values when sometimes they don't deserve it
i agree that there are some italian players that are just as bad as they look lol
if i would point an italian talent i would say insigne too bad he is napolis player

and i am not italian

what would you have bought instead of borrielo ?

Back in the day (when I was a lurker on this forum), Italian players were massively overrated. Then after the shit performances of the Italian NT in Euro 08, CC09 and WC 2010, Italian players are seen as "shit" and "mediocre" Just one of the many extremes of black or white on this forum, which rarely sees middle ground.

IMO the current crop of Italian players are not as good as previous generations, but nowhere near as bad as many of this forum think. I just think Italy doesnt produce top class defenders anymore, they certainly churn out quite a few good midfielders and attackers these days. Anyway, this whole agenda against Italian players wont stop until Italian teams are successful in International Tournaments and the CL again.
