And Boriello is as overrated as they can ever be. Please! One good season and one decent season and even after his good season he got rejected. He just wasn't good enough. That's his career. 1.5 season. Yay! I wish he can prove me wrong but I have my sincere doubts. Even so, I'm not sure I want another late bloomer, we have enough of them. I want something to work with for more than 2-3 years now.

In Italy????? Get real!
In Italy they are as overrated as a football player can ever be. There are other countries with these nationalistic pride, but hardly can anyone ever go as far as the Italians.
Esp in Juve we have a long history of providing the NT with many players and take pride of this.
Lately we have been signing anything with 2 legs ant NT caps (Molinari, Iaquinta, Legro, Motta, Bonucci, Grosso, Toni, Quaq, Aquilani, Pepe, etc now Boriello) or chances to get (Molinaro, Amauri, Candevra, Giaccherini etc)
we have the habit at overpaying for them and giving them more opportunities than we should.
No other team we have paid the fees we paid for them and no other team of our level/status would give so many chances to mediocrity and suffer to its performances for nationalistic reasons...
you don't understand at all the topic
nationalism is another thing and overpricing and overvaluing players is a whole other thing

I'm guessing Bochetti is. Others: Boriello, Matri was overpriced, Bonucci, Canini, Bonera (always been although now people have realized how bad he is) Ranocchia, Astori, Antonini, Montolivo, Aquilani, Pazzini, and so on. Most of the italians from the new generation. I'm not saying these players are useless but that they are overrated. Internationally rather average. Of course there are some underrated players like Cossu but most italian players are overpriced IMHO.
bochetti is not overpriced what do you think his value is ?
boriello not overpriced
the only reason matri was overpriced was because in january you always pay higher than in summer and we absolutely had the need of a striker and he was the only option left
if we would have got him in january he would have cost us around 12 milion
aquilani k he was bought more than his actual value
montolivio not overpriced
pazzini either
and antonini overpriced ???

i see sanchez that after 6 good months at udinese gets sold for 27 plus + 11 bonus if i am not mistaken
pastore go for 43
goetze that now borussia fixed the price to 30 pounds
damiao that gets a value from 20-40 milion

not saying that they are bad in fact they are all very good but none of them has actually shown that he deserves that value

most of italian players are not WC they are good players but the ones who are overpriced are very hard to find

Even if one would agree those you mention aren't overpriced, I would still withhold that they are overrated and average players. I'm not saying for example Antonini is overpriced, but what he was regarded as earlier. Like any "young" italian "up and comer" that is ~25 years old they usually at least 5 mln too much. Anyway, I believe all mentioned players are overpriced and overrated. They are not bad players (well, some of them are) but simply average. If we were to get them I would at best want them as rotational players. I wouldn't want Montolivo unless he figured as a backup. The same goes to say with anyone of those I mentioned. Some of them I don't even want if we got them for free and they played for free.

But yes, a lot of players are overvalued out there that hasn't proved their case yet. Especially from South America. And buying players from within the same league usually attracts a prize that unreasonable. So far PL teams is paying way above what teams in Serie-A are paying for Italians. Nevertheless the Italian players usually are overpriced and overvalued. I love azzurri and will always root for them but there's not a lot of players in that team I'd want to play in Juve. Ten years ago I would have said the complete opposite. Even if azzurri brings home the gold in the next euro I will stick up to my case.

I think we have a different implications or opinions when we discuss good and decent. To you I presume Montolivo, Aquilani, Pazzini etc. are good. To me they are decent. Hulk, Abate, Barzagli, G. Rossi, Vucinic, among other are good. Goetze has already shown that he is on the verge of becoming WC but need to be more consistent, same could be said about Pastore. Damaio I don't know anything about. Perhaps they are overpriced. In Pastore's case especially I'll agree but that was PSG's new owners having some fun.

Nasri would be sweeeeeeeeeeet.

Pazienza is A LOT better than Behrami. This better be a joke.
No he is not, are you kidding me? Both average players, with Behrami more more versatile. You are prolly saying that because Pazienza is already a Juve player. If we sign Behrami, you'll prolly say he is alot better with whatever average players we get rumoured with.

No, Osman. I know I do that a lot, but this time I'm for real. Even when we were getting Pazienza, I was just like mehhhh, so underwhelming. But Behrami is shit. Just shit. Nothing else but shit.
