B-ball doesn't require much skill.
:sergio:

Have you ever played a proper match of basketball? I played basketball for 10 years and I can tell you it takes a hell of a lot of skill.

The sports that require the most skill I would think are Formula One and Football. Golf is also quite hard and I imagine Ice Hockey would be hard as fuck too.

I've played a few times and I found it to be something that anyone can just do the basics easily enough on the first few tries, unlike football and other sports.

F1 is not a friggin' sport.
Yeah it is.

Honestly, besides running, football is by far the easiest sport to play (except for people that don't have legs ) because anyone can just kick a ball around and shoot it on goal though it takes many many many hours to practice and is probably one of the hardest sports to be the best at. People who have barely touched basketballs mostly can't keep dribbling for too long where as with football any half coordinated person could dribble a football down a football pitch at running speed compared to basketball where most people with no or little basketball experience would have trouble running and keeping the ball under control.

not really
i have played basketball and if you have good defenders in front you need a lot of skill to pass them ,
basketball seems easier to pick up than football , because you are more used with using hands than legs
, but takes a lot of skill to play in proffesional level
dribbling without looking the ball , dribbling with left hand and shooting from distance with proficency needs a lot of skill

from what i know F1 is 80% the car 20% the driver (not my opinion heard in several documentaries)

Who wins the title is 80% car 20% driver, in the sense that the differences between the best drivers is smaller than differences between cars. That does not mean that the cars drive themselves or that it is easy to drive them.

It takes an insane amount of talent and skill (as well as fitness and mental toughness) to even get into formula 1, let alone be the best. It is an incredibly difficult sport.

Its the same as saying that fotball is 80% about your team and 20% about you individually. Put Messi in Rayo Valencano and chances are that he woouldnt win anything. That doesnt mean that he is not incredibly skilled.

You're not wrong, it is true, just not in the way you said it.

What it means is that who will be the champion in formula 1 depends 80% on having the best car, and the 20% (or even less) is up to the driver.

However, it still takes an insane amount of talent and skill to even get to formula 1 and to drive the car at that speed, to its limit.

The drivers are incredible athletes, and drriving f1 requieres skill, talent, mental toughess, fitness... a whole lot of things, that other sports dont.

Eff you, go hit a rock with sticks.

And yeah, the G forces you're subjected to in a F1 car are insane, its not like driving your mother's car around the block. That's like trying to control a fucking rocket around some tight ass turns. Have you seen how thick the drivers' necks are? Most people's necks would snap the fuck out of place.
