I find it ironic that the Roma board came out and stated that they will have 40 Million Euros to spend in the summer (bearing in mind that they are unlikely to make it to the CL, and might potentially miss out on Europe altogether), whereas Juventus, with a new stadium, and the CL, will merely/barely have 25 Million Euros, hardly enough to acquire one marquee signing

I disagree about netball; I find it to be far more gay than basketball. As for Baseball and Nascar, I wholeheartedly agree. I can't understand how someone gets paid a fuckload of money, and people actually go and watch him, to keep turning right (or left) depending on the track for over 200 laps!

It was on FI a couple of days ago. Sabatini was quoted as saying they will have 40 Million to spend in the summer.

As for us having only 25 Million in the summer, Zac stated it as a fact, so there is no disputing it

Curling is the best sport ever though. I mean, if Egypt, Thailand, and The Philippines had an abundance of ice skating rinks, they'd be winning curling competitions all the time. Just send a few maids to sweep on ice, and you are set

curling again thats like the winter version of the english sport of bowles which is played by elderly people, yet curling is a olympic sport im surprised the american's havn't picked up on this and started the NCA franchise

I was thinking 25M to spend in the market sounds ridiculous for us, I was expecting double that.

If Roma have 40M we should atleast be on par to them.

As for me wanting Boriello. I'd want two quality strikers (Matri and Quagliarella) and Boriello as a backup. Boriello isn't starting material IMO. Matri and Quagliarella come first, but as a third string striker, he would be good. Especially if we make CL next season, we need all the depth we can get.

Also, Suarez was bought by Liverpool for 23M pounds right? That's almost 28M in euros. Suarez financially is out of the question. I can't see us blowing 30M on a player.

If we did Suarez would be the guy. He can play as a CF and a right winger.
