I find it ironic that the Roma board came out and stated that they will have 40 Million Euros to spend in the summer (bearing in mind that they are unlikely to make it to the CL, and might potentially miss out on Europe altogether), whereas Juventus, with a new stadium, and the CL, will merely/barely have 25 Million Euros, hardly enough to acquire one marquee signing :shifty:
you are forgetting that roma is going for the young players project
they spent a lot this season
and probably they are going to spend a lot for the next season too , but after that they will spend much less in the upcoming seasons and focus to grow the players they have in the squad
so they spend a lot in 2 seasons and than in 4 seasons they spend nothing
the aim is to get young players and infuse them a game mentality, and hope that they will make be a good team in the long run , they have invested in a winning team for the future not an a team who wins imediatly
hence the young talent and luis enrique
roma doesn't scare me right now , but i would prefer if they sack luis enrique in 2-3 years they could become dangerous

Conte wants a extra striker( High Class/CL ready type), and Promising youngster for the future. I have a feelin we'll get Gaston, as for the striker, not a 100% sure. Damiao is the cheaper of the option, and looks likes he'll kill it in europe.

Also, I would like Destro here, since we link with him & has impressed me the few times he's played.

So hard to believe that Gio is now 25, my sis was watching the Parma game with me and mistook him for a mascot
The Danish commentator actually said "I know it's hard to separate him from the children, but he's the bald one" when the Parma v Juve game was starting and the children in football shirts were on the pitch
