The proof in the pudding is that Marotta built teams that didn’t miss a step after Conte left, bitching and crying like a little baby. Conte did everything he could to throw a wrench in the works while leaving both clubs. Marotta built teams that kept on winning. Did they have their issues? Yep. And he has his. But he built well-balanced, winning squads that were also competitive at the very highest level.
