We should go for this guy in the summer. Build like a linebacker, fast player even been 195cm. But has suffered two ACL injuries, one in Hoffenheim 2014, another 2019. Any bundesliga followers on forum to put some word about him ?

So Edu was acting against the hierarchy looks hard to believe.

Not that much... remember when we were interest in bringing Witsel and Arrivabene said no... it could have happend that Cherubini look fo that option and Arrivabene (The heirarchy) block it.

It could happend that Edu accepted the deal but Arsenal's heirarchy said "ammm no" :boh:

I don't think that is what he means. Edu probably negotiates the deals but the final approval comes from someone else who is even higher in the Arsenal hierarchy and understands the finances better than Edu.

Yep
Yes Arrivabene who told DAZN: "I think it is important to clarify a few things, which is that the increase in capital showed the shareholders have faith in the club's plans to re-launch and resolve our issues.

"However, I want to make it very clear that this is to bring stability to the club accounts. It is absolutely not a financial operation, so we can make some big splash on the transfer market.

"If anyone is expecting some big coups in January, they can forget it.

"This club has been hit hard by two years of COVID, and we are focused on re-launching, reflecting and evaluating, so we can then do what the economic situation allows us to do."

That has nothing to do with it...

What Im saying is that its not strange that the DS comes with a deal and the hierarchy says no to that deal

A reliable CB together with a solid DM will be more effective than just a promising De Ligt. There will be a bidding war for him so we should bleed the buyer as we did with Pogba.
