It seems like Martin and his father spent a long time considering where to go. Has money affected the decision? Of course. But I highly doubt it's the main reason. I quite confident Real showed Martin and his dad that they believe in him and wants him to be a part of the next generation. (I think read somewhere in the Norwegian media, that his salary was exaggerated in British/Spanish media).

I've actually (unlike most of you) seen him play regularly for Strømsgodset and I am not talent scout but the talent is there add to that, that his mentality is being praised. The kid is down to earth and his father does everything he can to keep him there. Very Scandinavian in that sense.

Oh, and training with Ronaldo, Bale, James, Modric, Isco, Benzema, Kroos and so on everyday

Barcelona and Real are always expected to remain in the final stages and now there's Simeone's Atletico but that we don't know how long will last. You're right it's not representative for the whole league. If anything the Bundesliga is far more exciting and shows better Football than all the others.

You watch a team in the midtable against one that's in the bottom and you're most likely to watch an offensive open game with good technicality, an spectable. The lower table La liga teams are abominable.

No one's questioning the quality of the top 2, or now 3 Spanish teams. It's the lower ~60% where opinions are divided.
