Wolfsburg CEO Allofs said a few days ago, that nobody of his (important) Players r going to be sold in Winter. They have a good chance to qualiy for next year CL and they dont have many good attacking players, so they really need him for now.
Read some reports, that they r in negatiations for a new contract. His agent replied to the Napoli rumours, that they r open for everything..shows that the talks r ongoing and they check their market value. Anything could happen at the end of the season, but I think Allofs rates him highly and offers him a nice package.
Perisic have been inconsistent during his 18 months at Dortmund and also the following 12 months at Wolsburg. The 2nd part of last season he was amazing though and was finally showing great performances. This season he was injured until lately and after some time of adoption, he was in good form again.
If I would be Allofs, then I would be tempted to use the situation and selling him in summer, when somebody would offer me 20-25m€. Wolfsburg seem to think it differently and ll really try hard to extend his contract. Thus there could be chances to get him in summer, but not in winter I guess.
