A wop and a darkie walk into a bar. The wop asks for a shit sandwich and the bartender beats the living shit out the darkie. The wop says "what the fock did you do that for?", and the bartender says "I thought he was going to steal your wallet."

Just to clarify: Not the same shit sandwich. People are making new ones every year.
Not to be confused with the Southern variety, Shit on a Shingle.

What kind of Chinese food? I like Cantonese for the dim sum, Schezwan for the spicy stuff, etc.

I love Indian food. But, at the risk of starting a nuclear exchange, I think I have to give the nod to Pakistani food as just a notch better. ;)

Just had lunch at Memphis Minnie's
http://www.memphisminnies.com/

The place is a trip. They are so anti-healthy, it's hilarious. They have a punch card to give you a free sandwich after purchasing 10, and they call it the "Lard Card".

Imagine a BBQ place that would be TV-ready for a show like Weird U.S.. Or like a Bubba Gump's shrimp place that was authentic and not all cheesy T-shirt franchising a la Planet Hollywood. Or for those on the East Coast, like a Po' Folks with better food, weirder employees, and isn't a chain:

(Speaking of Po' Folks: a restaurant chain with the theme of poverty? Now that takes some marketing cajones if you asked me...)

As for my lunch today? Had the Memphis sweet-smoked pork sandwich, a side order of collard greens, and fried peach pie for dessert. :lick:

i had lunch at la salsa. after walking around the city of walnut creek in search of food for an hour, i settled on this place. they gave me some massive burrito that was bigger than me, and it was alright. not the best, but not bad. at least they had some good salsa music going in the background

not to mention it only cost like 8$ :D

We've done music to death. Why not food?

Bicerin is great, albeit a pretty local thing. Not a lot of (enough) offerings outside of Torino... though I have to wonder if it will travel well, much like the curse of Neopolitan pizza and New York bagels.

oh alright, thanks for the clarification. never had it. i do like the hot chocolate in italian cafes though, so much better than boiled water and powder :yuck:

the espresso is undoubtedly better as well:cool:
