Morals are created by society, philosophy religion and individual conscience? So does that mean they do not come from god?

So in the bible only Jesus is an authority on morality?

Morality did not come from philosophy and society. Society and Philosophy preach Morality, that is not to say that philosophers and society invented the concept of morality.

Would you not say that individual conscience is something that cannot be explained scientifically?

Since there exists an objective moral truth, there must have been a creator for such a truth. And since it is something that is absolute, it could not have been invented by mankind.

I'll come to the point.

If you say that god is good, that means you can tell good from bad. So you don't need god to tell you what's good and bad.

Agreed?

We already know what is good and bad, the bible enforces morality, it warns us of the consequences of being immoral, that is not to say that God has not already the abiliy to distinguish right from wrong (hence a conscience).

Just to make it clear, those were the words of jesus according to the gospel of matthew.

Out for tonight
You are absolutely right, Jesus is known historically for preaching about war, not peace.

Quoting scripture when out of context is very dangerous.

Would you please actually answer questions on topic instead of writing unrelated responses? I know you love doing that, but it's not a means to debate anything intelligently.

Is god necessary to tell man what is good and bad or isn't he? I want a clear answer, not just something that can be interpreted as the answer.

I see. So god told you what is good and what is bad.

And you also said earlier that god is good.

Which means that you are saying god is good by using god's own definition of "good".

Put more simply, it is god's opinion that god is good, because he controls the meaning of "good".

You see no problem with this?

new here: so..some of you say that god is good, he can love because he loves us, he is very jealous because he said that in the 10 commands..and he isn't in a palace in the sky, but he is everything..in air..in water..he is a spirit. I want to ask you..how does a spirit have these feelings.

I've always wondered whether gay priests dream of having sex with Jesus Christ.

Everybody has sex with God though, since they moan it all the time.
