If I have to be honest, being a wagon is what makes it even more appealing for me personally. I think its the most beatiful wagon out there, but without loosing a bit of its aggressivness. I guess its a love it or hate it case, but having kids and having to travel alot makes it the perfect combination for me, as it has an enormous trunk space and it retains a flawless ratio of familly/sports car. Besides they don't make a sedan version of the RS6 anymore, I think they will release an electric sedan version of it in 2025, which will be a joke for the legacy of this car imo!

I've had a couple of the top end Nextbase ones and they are good but not flawless. Generally do what you want and have nice displays and good resolution. I always find the connectivity is not great. The first one I had had a faulty battery so was useless if disconnected (I hardwire all of mine).
My gf has a random higher end Chinese one from Amazon and honestly there isn't that much difference in recorded quality, just reduced functionality and small display. It actually connects better than my Nextbase. I haven't tried other brands.
The DashOne Pro is supposed to be really good so I might try that next.

Depends on whether your connection is made to a permanent live or switched live fuse. My 12V is switched so when the engine is turned off it draws no power, other cars are different. My hardwire kit goes to a permanent live fuse only because I use it for the parked sensor mode, but if you don't use that there's no reason not to use a switched live. Even so, the wire comes with a limiter so it will only drain the car battery down to a certain percentage of its capacity, say if I leave the car for a few weeks without driving it (which I never do), so in theory it shouldn't be an issue, but some do occasionally have them.
what jay said, plus based on my quick research it looks like there are optional battery packs available for multiple brands. it means that the parking mode only drains the dedicated battery instead the car's battery

Well I do need an affordable family car, as I have 2 kids and I want one that won’t lose most of its value in a few years, so I’m looking at 3-5 year old petrol Qashqais as an option. I know Jukes are definitely considered a ladies car, but the Qashqai I went to look at today had a white fluffy thing on the seatbelt and yesterday a friend of mine said “oh yeah, my mom drives this!”, so I started wondering

who cares though. maybe a pink nissan micra cc is a bit too much of a ladies' car, otherwise just pick what you like. i saw dudes tearing up the asphalt in mini's on trackdays and that's also considered a ladies' car. i'll probably get an mx5 when i finish my attic renovation project, that's not a testosterone bomb either. the alternative is a charger v8 lol. or a volvo v60 t8 the ultimate sleeper haha. all 3 are completely different animals. either way, idgaf, my money, my car

I need something bigger than what I have now and did look at them for a bit but I'd prefer something with higher clearance as my village floods every winter lol.
