This is an Emmy Award-winning documentary about a girl who spent her early life chained in a bedroom. Brought up in confinement, "Genie" was primitive, brutish, and hardly capable of walking or talking. NOVA follows the contentious attempts to unbolt the secret of the wild child who has reached near maturity in an agonizing seclusion with almost no human contact.

Then I need to visit Cali (besides the awesome weather), because I liked berlin only time I was there, fun loving hippies :D Bit out of touch, but nothing but good vibes.

But in Paris despite the rep of scenic city, like 7/10 peeps you met were unbearable asshats. Sometimes stereotypes are so fucking true :D And my friends and family allways tell me I'm too positive and accepting, and see the silver lining in anyone I meet or places I visit. But Paris defenitely rubbed me the wrong way.

Parisians are rude and obnoxious, but at least it's obvious for everyone to see.

Swedes and Norwegians however are pretty hypocritical, when you meet them abroad. It's supposed to be all Scandi charm, but in reality they feel high and mighty and better than the rest of the world. Of course it doesn't help that to them everything is cheap if they wander outside Scandinavia.

Who said Scandinavians are charming lol socially bit guarded and cold. We are brought up to not talk to strangers or even have eye contact much lol.

Tend to open up more in overseas travels for sure. But not suprised you notice some of the attitude of air of importance, generally polite and chill exterior, but have been indirectly bred with from childhood best most functioning society in the world. So that will have some kind of effect on simple minded people.

The cheap part must be Norwegians, everything so insanely pricey in Norway that they defenitely point out the difference. Their whole economy supplemented with oil gains. So they get more salary then their neighbours, and hence everything costs more there.

Buying a regular pizza in Oslo was like fine dining meal price lol.

What bothers me a bit is that people always seem to take personal credit for their society. I mean, yes, in some aspects Swedish and Norwegian society probably does function really well and that's great. But that's hardly a personal achievement. Maybe being grateful about it would be better than being smug. Whenever I see Norwegians in Italy (and you'd be surprised how many Norwegian cars you see there despite the distance) they look like they're in the zoo looking at animals.

At least the Swiss are proud of being cunts.

I preferred the version with Katey Sagal.

Here's her in "Palms of Death"

When you pay your McDonald's burger flippers $35 an hour plus bennies, people start putting on formalwear to eat a Filet-O-Fish.

@swag I plan on achieving AGI at burning man
Auto-fellatio Gastro-Intenstinal? That would be some epic performance art fo sho.

I'd only have the Two Sicilies, MAYBE the Papacy :p
    Fuck The Papacy tho fr

Collaborated with foreign invaders, actively stymied attempts for the country to fight for independence and unity and are basically a religious theocracy no better than modern day states like Iran or Saudi Arabia.

I wish I had some of that Grand Duchy of Tuscany tho.
