people our age only used MySpace for a couple years, Facebook hit while we were in early high school so we adopted into it pretty quickly
It was still big with my friends during that time. I hated the way people "spoke," having music autoplay when you land on a page is obnoxious, I didn't like having to ranki my friends, I just didn't like the overall culture of it. Maybe I just wasn't "cool" enough for it, but Facebook felt more mature I guess whereas Myspace just felt childish. You were yourself there, not xXxd3m0nsl4urxXx420 or whatever bullshit kids thought was cool then :p

And then of course Facebook became a scourge on humanity, but that's another story.

Did you like Facebook more? Always was boring af to me. Myspace might have been eye cancer inducing with all the gifs and custom fonts and shit, but at least the profiles were unique.
yeah I liked MySpace a lot but Facebook was just more user friendly and uniform which I think helped it take over

Thinking of going to Turkey with the family - end of November for 5-6 days. Other than Istanbul and Cappadocia, any suggestions? Do we really need to go through a tour agency?
Gonna be cold for Cappadocia imo istanbul is a big hassle, unless you stay in fatih/beyoglu and do some walking. I like bodrum, but that's a summer destination.

I would love to go to Turkey, but I’m afraid they’re going to hate a blonde hair, blue eye white dude who thinks he’s from California.
Turks are very friendly
