Nah they mostly hate arabs, you'd be a rare sight, very few americans visit turkey. The lira is so cheap now, good bargain.

Always wanted to visit because of the history but always had that slight worry in the back of my mind. I’ll have to give it a look.

Turks are nice social people, maybe too nice lol. And they have some blond and blue eyed peeps amongst them.



Just don't be obnoxious and talk to them like regular people and they will welcome you with open arms. And your wallet too lol. Its quite cheap and they will take pride in an American tourist (its rare over there).



It goes without saying avoid the touristy spots and dont look too much like one either.

Good to know! And I’m definitely not the typical American tourist, I’m able to blend in much more than a lot of Muricans. I think I said here before that I’ve been mistaken for Swedish and Swiss more than American, which I’ll take as a compliment!

Yeah, I tried doing that even if options are limited since not that many companies want to sponsor foreigners but I did get a couple of interviews.

My last one was on Thursday so fingers crossed this week.

finding a corporate lawyer position is not difficult when you are in UK. he can ask directly from companies for work conditions and give them his resume.
