haven't owned a car for 5 years now and it's been great

plus there is something low class about driving oneself. I'd prefer a machine to do that for me in some autonomous fashion

Living out in a rural environment a car is necessary but any time I’ve lived in a city, I’ve gone car free willingly. A car is just a way to get from point A to B for me, but a pretty wasteful way to do it as far as time lost to driving is concerned.
