I already have a BA in Economics and a BS in Finance, but I'm so disillusioned with the finance industry at this point that I don't even see a Master's degree as worth it. To me it seems, in this industry you either need to know someone or have a very good start in terms of getting relevant work experience. I'm talking starting in high school.

Don't you also have an economics degree?
That's even better. You need to flex and flaunt that econ degree.

As much as you may not like Finance, you're in NYC. You need to ride that. It's the way to the goose that lays the golden eggs my friend.

Maybe it's just a "the grass is greener" thing, but data science has got me feeling some type of way. I also see that as a combination of finance and programming, making it harder to automate my source of income and work in a growing field. The thought of having to give presentations makes me anxious as fuck though, but we all have to challenge ourselves sometimes, right?

What can you even REALLY do with a BA in econ though?

If you're into data science then pm me. Would love to chat or meet up to talk to you more about it. Depending on your chops I know several firms that are looking for data scientists

You should come to NYC

The demand for talented creatives never subsides
well i am still in italia and europe and i started to feel what you say. but i am in contact with creative artists from "DONDA" kanya west and "off white" Virgil abloh, so lets see. am not big fan of living in america but, i guess i started not to care if there is great opportunity appear to me.

Are expensive wines really worth it?
No.

Blind taste tests have been done with pro wine drinkers and their guesses were all over the place.

Here in the US you get the biggest bang for the buck with the very affordable Chilean and Argie wines. Not sure what their prices are in Europe.

Better yet - and this is for fellow health geeks - stick to the distilled stuff, the healthier alt (red wine being healthy isn't true).
