Sooner or later programming will get oversaturated and people will earn less. Way too many people are into it now. And it's kinda silly, majority just thinks about the movie and not about the part where you might be doing a job you fucking hate for the next 30 years.
SQL is boring as shit IMO but I don't think you need a degree for that. You can learn quite a lot even online.

You are taught more than just SQL, and if the name of this company is valued (I have no idea), then their certification would have to hold weight, no? Maybe not as much as a conventional computer science degree from a known university, but it would have to at the very least demonstrate an understanding of these languages and concepts in the absence of working experience in that field.
I looked on my internal job board to see if anything was close to you out of curiosity, and the closest office is Prague. Nothing in the Balkans at all.
