I am applying for a finance job but I wouldn't say that it is high end or anything. I figured why not spend 100$ if it gets me a job then it is totally worth it.

Cv's in corporate America, especially finance, matter. You can't just send in a normal looking one, you have to use the right format and wordage.

Oh thats true for sure, tho question is if you into that field you will probably know someone with some know-how to guide you on the basics and esthetics, and not need to pay to get it right. Unless its a time sensitive thing as ALC said.

And with that came the hunger for the Velvet Underground records. Been re-listening and getting re-acquainted with their back catalog. So minimalist yet so gritty and powerful. I was specifically listening to this tune at work - one that I haven't heard in many years - and I never really had paid attention to the words until today... Haven't listened to White Light/White Heat in a few years. I'd forgotten how wild the lyrics are in that track. I love that raw minimalism they have going on too, definitely a precursor to early punk, tracks like that. I'm going to have to find it, I know I have it somewhere in amongst records.

I can't recall if I asked you if you had heard of Lizzy Mercier Dezcloux before? Also went by the name Rosa Yemen... She took some influence from Lou Reed for sure.
