Not half bad, my love. Not half bad.

All my friends and coworkers seemed to have travelled the world this holiday break while I stayed home, but I ain't too jelly -- I'll get my travels in later in the year, and it has been nice to lay low at home with little traffic and so many people out of town. (SF being a young-people town kind of empties out around the holidays while they all see family and/or see the world elsewhere.)

My work situation is otherwise good... which isn't always a given. And, curiously enough, I started classes in graffiti and street art. So now I spray paint just about anything I get my hands on. Lucky for you you're on the other side of the continent.

How's shakes with you? Still in Halifax?
That's excellent about the graffiti classes! I didn't know one could take such a thing, but I suppose it is SF and I shouldn't be surprised. Where are you going on your holiday, do you know yet?

Still in Halifax, getting by. I've started horse riding again (first time since I was a kid), and it's keeping me busy. Also busy with some out of work projects, learning CSS and trying to stay out of trouble ;)

You make an excellent point. On the other hand: one year contract with possibilities of moving up in an international company, taztaziki and ouzo.

Plus its a good way of testing the relationship without her moving into My place.
Yeah bro, I was there when I was ten so back in 2000. The economy is booming, the streets are full of people, the food is great. I doubt much has changed so go for it! Greek is a horrible language, but other than that, you'll be okay.

Time to go out and get a cup of coffee. This illness is ready to go away.

Much snow outside and it's -8 degrees.
It's always time for :coffee:, independent of the weather. (Don't get me started with those summertime cold coffee wusses.)

Dude, getting paid to be in a country where everybody else has to be there? Sounds like a great opportunity to me. :D

The place of my birth!
I think he meant Greece, not Georgia. ;)

Great idea

First you get the power, then you get the money, and then you get the Xbox.

Yeah, there's a pretty cool studio here in town called 1AM aka "First Amendment". My teacher there is more graffiti style than street art (there's a difference), and recently he's started a great series where he defaces really bad 80s pop art, e.g.:

Bob Ross was never so cool.

My can control needs a lot of work... it's all muscle memory you have to develop from scratch. But I'm learning new skillz I guess.

As for a holiday, I'm trying to swing a work-sponsored trip to Florianópolis, Brazil that will allow me to branch out with more personal time to travel South America in the Spring. Details to come. :)

Horse riding? Awesome. I take it Western and not English and definitely no dressage? Or are you hunting foxes in your spare time now? (Comely Canadian RCMPs aside.)

Sweet! I'd love to see some of your work one day when you're ready. And can control, you say? :pado:

No Western for me, I'm an English girl, hunter/jumper. I'd love to try dressage one day. And hunting foxy policemen.

Hahaha

Yeah, well here's a piece in the bowels of San Francisco where I put up the concept and my teacher largely finished all the detail work to make it street-worthy. I decided to go with a message (hey, it was Christmastime!) instead of shouting my swag moniker:

Btw, I had nothing to do with the "2" part. Seems a little cliché to me, but Joker (my teacher) suggested it was de rigueur.

So do you wear white gloves and drink tea with your pinky out??

Actually that's pretty hot. I never met an English-style riding woman before. :klin:

How does Joker look like btw?

Cool black dude or white meth addict?
Here's his 'gram feed (all the good graffiti artists are on Instagram it seems):
https://www.instagram.com/jokrae415/

Basically he reminds me a lot of a good friend of mine. Blue collar San Francisco local white dude who grew up here in the 80s and 90s... a dying breed.

The dude has a strange fetish for box trucks. Especially refrigerated ones.

Nice work, @swag, but why not portu?
Ooh... I like your style and thinking here, Martin. Go all international up in that beeyotch and all.

I will definitely consider it for my next project. :D Like "Pão pão, queijo queijo" or "bread bread, cheese cheese" as in "it's for realz, yo".
