Loll thanks, I thought I might as well. Will check out the surrounding cities and villages as well while I'm there
why don't you take your own advice and check out some of the smaller farms instead

Where my brother @Vinny Del Pogba at?

So the hurricane is coming our way, huh? Fuck, not 2005 again. Gas stations are running out of gas, Yesterday I went to buy water, batteries and stuff... Man, people fighting over shit...

Last time I had no power for 16 days. :scared: So if I'm not seen around here in the next week or so....

Either way, hope you and your family are safe, stay away from the coast. Let's ride this one out, baby. Bring it!

I'm sorry but I don't see what's wrong with gas station burritos, hot dogs, /'d hot pockets. They're banging, cheap, and easy to eat. Not everyone has time to admire the color of their egg yolk in the morning.

There's plenty of organic food, small farms, etc where I am and I'm sure the same goes for many other places in the US. But why not appreciate both sides?
Oh, I definitely roll eyes in fatigue over every wannabe chef and their mother who espouses "Our restaurant concept is fresh, local, farm-to-table ingredients" blah blah blah. It's a good schtick, but does everybody really have to follow that noise?

That said, there's something strange in America where we seem to value consumable foods primarily to the extent that science and engineering are used to warp them as much as possible into something completely unrecognizable as food. Maybe it's better to have that than to not have that, but it's kind of overwhelming in the States here.

People have been "disrupting" food for decades -- telling you the stuff your grandma made was crap and the jar of powdered Tang is awesome astronaut juice. It's a legit reason why I've come to really appreciate the whole Slow Food thing eons ago, because those foods lack investors and marketing dollars and can easily be pushed aside as "obsolete" otherwise.

Prepare for Paris syndrome.
Is that like Stockholm Syndrome, except your kidnappers are looking for Kim Kardashian's jewels?

Thinking about the Riviera Nayarit tambien.
Even better: the Geraldo Rivera Nayarit.

I'm gonna ravage the playa.

You in the Bahamas, man? Stay safe. And have an appropriate dark n' stormy with some ginger beer for me.

Administrative jobs are usually college grads here. But there will always be labor and retail. You can only automate those to a certain extent before it's cheaper to just hire people.

Pretend it's a date and you are trying to make a good impression on a girl. If things work out and you end up together, it's going to be different and you can fart around her all you want. But you gotta go through the dance first just to show you're better than all the other dudes creeping on her.
I don't mind fast food.

But the amount of crap you are served in the US is astounding. No wonder you have problems with obesity.

Something that's also very weird is that fruit and vegetables taste less like themselves in the US and more like water. I don't know why that is and I doubt you Americans will believe me, but it's how I experienced it.
