Sorry Greg. Condolences for your loss.
May he rest in piece and look down on you with a dissaproving grin, if he is anything like my father :)
Sorry for your loss, Greg. May he rest in peace.

My father passed away 6 years ago which was in my early 20s, and to be honest life was scary in the first couple of years without him. Thankfully, he taught me never to be in a situation where I need help from anyone (even my uncles) and proudly didn't let him down.
Sorry to hear about your dad, Greg. RIP.
My condolences guys.
I am very sorry to hear that, Greg. Even if he was at the end of his days these things hit hard.
fuck man sorry to hear, feel as much internet-hugged as possible.

Since we talk about these things my cousin who is his 40s is in the terminal stage of leukemia and he can't be helped anymore. How to deal with a beloved person in a situation when everybody knows he is going to die. I don't know
Sorry for your loss Greg. May he rest in peace.
Sorry to hear that guys.

My condolences.

No good man, awful. At least he wont be suffering anymore.
My condolences guys. May both RIP.
Condolences, Greg. I wish you and your family the best.
I'm very sorry for your loss. My condolences.
my condolences Greg. stay strong bro.
Sorry to hear that. My condolences, Greg.
Sorry to hear that swag/greg/man.
Thank you very much for your kind words, guys. :dule: I'm not just saying that -- your responses and expressions of condolences are meaningful to me, so thank you.

For a long time I've known my dad didn't have much left on this earth, and so did he. Yesterday was still a very difficult day. He was a man from a more authoritarian time -- where "men were men" and there was never much time or space for mushy stuff, but I always knew where he stood the love was always there. Again, knowing so many people who haven't had fathers much in their life (my wife's father dying of cancer when she was just age 2 being one such example), I feel lucky and have much to be thankful for.

Drove to Santa Cruz, enjoyed a beautiful day along the ocean, and toasted a drink or two in his honor. :martini:

Very sorry to hear about your loss, Greg....losing close family shakes up your entire world

- - - Updated - - -

So on my drive home today I was low on gas and hadn't seen a station in miles. My phone (navigation) was out of batteries so i had to just take the first exit and drove around for a minute looking for a station. I drove about 10 miles and didnt find shit but vineyards before I turned around to go back and just try my luck at another exit...upon turning around to head back to the freeway I noticed a sign... my fruitless search had taken place on, i shit you not, Husted road.

I got Husted in real life.

If it's someone you've known all your life, there's a real sense of permanent loss. Even if he did not fear death and had a full life and I am grateful for all the time I go to know him. The sense of loss is not just personal either... it makes me think more about his generation in general.

Sorry to hear, even if you aren't.

My father died earlier this morning, about an hour before you posted this, and I do care. But the guy was clearly at the end of his days and I feel blessed to have known him for as long as I did.

R.I.P., Dad.
Just read this

A good friend of mine is a goddamn conspiracy theorist now

I wonder if LSD did this to him or what the fuck. All his facebook posts are about the new world order or the Illuminati, how drugs, music and television are means to control us and dumb us down.

I'd like to help him but he instantly refuses to accept any arguments against his crazy ass theories.
