I get it if you don't like or find value in something. What I don't get is what motivates someone to have to get on a soapbox about it.

I think that all racing sports are a joke in that people pay money to watch others get in vehicles and drive in circles for hours. But it's another thing for me to feel the need to publicly express that as if anyone asked my opinion.

Secondly we are on a forum in general, in a hangout thread in particular, where users express whatever they feel like without being asked.
Thirdly I won't get offended if others express what they do or don't like. Although I want to remark that you might only have encountered NASCAR (driving in circles)
