is it common to purchase apartments in Denmark? In the States most people just rent them and only buy houses.
Renting in Copenhagen is next to impossible. What I did was basically buying myself into a union that owns three apartment building, in return I get to rent one of the apartments for very little as long as I want to live there. its not quite like that, but the easiest way to explain it.

Over here we have to pay 150e for rent in a decent area.

And wages are like 200-250e. Yes. It makes no sense.

Food is as expensive as in Europe while bills are ~120e.

:boh: I have no solution in my mind beside robbing a bank.
