That's it. Vancouver real estate prices have been off the charts for years. Rich HK'ers and Japanese. And then rich white men from Alberta retiring. It's crazy. My sister owns a high end custom millwork business. Mostly works on multi-million dollar homes around the city.

The island is pretty cool. It's just a 90 min ferry ride to Vancouver, so that's not bad. And I'm only an hour drive from Victoria at the south end of the island with 350,000 people. I like living on the edge of the wild, it's a little more relaxed than constantly being surrounded by people. And the island is pretty cool for wilderness, with glaciated mountains, old-growth rain forests, and the ocean all right beside each other.

Is there any skiing there?

Have you seen the rest of Canada much? Place is frickin huge.

I just said that just so it doesn't sound so hardcore. It's actually 1.5h and I'm serious. Sometimes when I read a book it's even 2 hours.

Actually really good. School is going great, as I'm keeping a 93/100. Hopefully I'll get to work for a big corporate law firm this year. I found out one of my older brother's closest buddies is the son of the owner of a very good firm.

Btw, I read some Americans dropped a list of most poor countries. Index of pauperism or something like that. That's pretty much when you take into consideration unemployment, inflation, interest rates and GDP. Venezuela and Argentina are on the top while Serbia holds 8th place and we're also the worst country in region.
