I just returned to my apartment to find a small bird had moved in. Its stuck in the tv room right now but the window is open so im hopeful it finds its way out again

Have you gone to uni yet (not sure how old you are)? If not, or if you're not finished yet, you might want to look at studying abroad.

This, @Monco. Go study abroad for your lasts year(s) and you might get lucky enough to get a job afterwards. I actually have a Lithuanian friend who did that. He just finished his Master's in December and is currently looking for a job here. He hasn't found one yet though, but because it's Denmark (socialist) he isn't screwed without a job. Of course, this isn't ideal either, but it sounds better than what you have down there.
