there is a big difference between clubbing and partying IMO. Partying is when I go to a special event (foreign dj or a big event), whereas clubbing is (partiularly in Malta) when I head to the clubs around town and meet up with my friends.
The main difference is that when I go partying I go with just a few friends and the main goal is to make the most of the night, while clubbing is more 'relaxed' and normally the goal is to have fun and ultimately pull a chick

Fell asleep in the pizza shop (it has a couch & is open all night, what do you expect?) and now crashing at my friend's place for a couple hours before I can go home. Been an interesting night I guess.

I call seeing any sort of live touring act as going to a show/event, clubbing is going out to a place that just has a DJ playing music. Partying to me is like a house party, I don't really use that term for going out.

For Clubbing we seem to have a similar definition/idea. When we have house parties I don't consider that partying, barely consider it going out, despite getting super hammered. I consider it partying when I go all out. For example, going to a club to hear a local dj and drink = clubbing; going somewhere to hear Carl Cox/creamfields etc = partying

In female dancing there is a thin line between 'sexy' and 'retarded'.

I want to know why football commentary/coverage isn't like this any more:

Good old pre health and safety days where you could fit 45,000 into Pittodrie.

Capacity is just about 20,000 nowadays.
