Yeah, folks that think background checks to prevent retards from getting guns is "one step too far" are all about cyber spying.
Background checks will help us so much, just like putting former SEALs with radiation detectors at the finish line of the marathon. Once the background checks are standard across the board, I'm sure the violent crimes will diminish, just like when we put Craft International or TSA at every corner.

A background check to purchase a fire arm is reasonable. There's really no argument against it. I can understand arguing against mandatory registration, assualt bans, clip bans, etc. But making sure a gun owner doesn't have a history of violent crimes or retardation is fine by me.
